Senior defenseman Tova Henderson was bestowed the Maroon and Gold Award voted on by the team. The award honors the player who the team thinks best combines the team values of work ethic, attitude and commitment to the team and to the game of hockey. Henderson graduates with the seventh-most consecutive games played in UMD history with 153, and wrapped up the season skating in all 38 games. The Richmond, B. C. native posted three goals and 10 assists for 13 points, which included two game-winning goals – both of which came in overtime at Minnesota to help the Bulldogs clinch their final road series of the season in Minneapolis.

Henderson – an alternative captain – logged 68 community service hours over her UMD career, including 31:35 this past year – the fourth most on the team.
In her first season with the Bulldogs, Kate Kosobud was selected UMD's Breakthrough Player of the Year by the coaching staff, presented annually to the student-athlete who made the most progress in her development as an athlete in a given year. Kosobud,, played in all 38 games and ran up two goals and eight assists for 10 points. The sophomore defenseman from Moorhead, Minn. had 40 blocks – more than a one block a game average – and 11 times had multiple block games, including a five-block effort against Bemidji State University on February 7 at home. Kosobud also finished the season with a +4 plus/minus rating.
Junior Ève Gascon was named UMD's Most Valuable Player after the goaltender was a Second Team 2025-26 CCM/AHCA Women's Division I All-American, an All-USCHO First Team selection, a National Goalie of the Year Finalist and the 2025-26 WCHA Goaltender of the Year -- honors she has also owned in consecutive seasons. Named to the 2025-26 All-WCHA First Team, Gascon was the 2025-26 WCHA Statistical Goaltending Champion after posting a league-high.943 saves percentage in league games and led the conference with 10 shutouts – the second most in all of the NCAA. Gascon also played the most minutes in the league and posted 993 saves -- the third most in a single-season in UMD program history.
