Nine years ago I opened the doors not knowing exactly where the journey would lead β only knowing I wanted to build a place where people could come together through martial arts.
Over the years weβve watched kids grow in confidence, beginners become leaders, and strangers become lifelong friends. Thatβs the real story of UMA.
Right now weβre in the middle of preparing a new home for the academy, and like any big step forward, it comes with a lot of work behind the scenes. But moments like this also remind me why we started in the first place.
Because at the end of the day, what weβre really building isnβt just a gym β itβs a community that supports each other, pushes each other, and keeps showing up.
To everyone who has trained with us, supported us, brought their kids, helped during the move, or simply believed in what weβre doingβ¦ thank you. Youβre the reason UMA has made it to 9 years.
