Before we even moved in, there was a leak that started in whatās now our bedroom on the third floor. Water was pouring through the ceiling, onto the landing, down the stairs, through the living room ceiling and eventually pooling on the floor downstairs.
The issues shown in these photos go beyond just that leak though. A lot of it shouldāve been picked up before we moved in. We canāt say for certain whether it was or wasnāt, but youād hope problems like this would be sorted before handing the property over to new occupants ā us in this case. Unfortunately, this seems to be a wider SFA issue.
So this is exactly why I decorated. The house needed some proper TLC. Itās still not perfect and thereās still visible water damage in places, but itās already come a long way.
