Das Musikfestival der UdK Berlin findet dieses Jahr vom 30. Mai bis zum 13. Juni statt.
In den aktuell politisch unruhigen Zeiten geht crescendo26 den Weg der GegenTöne – wir leisten Widerstand mit Klängen und mit Worten, mit Komponist*innen und Musiker*innen und werfen einen Blick auf Zeiten, in denen Musik genau das schon geleistet hat. Auch musikalisch taucht immer wieder das „Gegen“ auf: In Dissonanzen reiben sich nahestehende Töne aneinander und streben zur Auflösung, zur Harmonie. Klang- bzw. Tonproduktion selbst kann ohne den physikalischen Widerstand einer Saite, die zu schwingen beginnt, gar nicht entstehen.
Es erklingen Werke von u. a. Sergej Rachmaninoff, Dmitri Schostakowitsch, Franz Schubert, Jean-Louis Duport, Frédéric Chopin, Gustav Mahler, Fanny Hensel, Grażyna Bacewicz und vielen mehr. Wie jedes Jahr gestalten Studierende, Lehrende und Gäste instituts- und fakultätsübergreifend die Programme. Mit Klängen und mit Worten setzt das Festival ein Zeichen gegen Kulturabbau und für Töne. Es erwarten euch hochkarätige Solo- und Kammermusik, Sinfoniekonzerte, Meisterkurse, Programme für Kinder, Chöre, Uraufführungen, Alte Musik und eine Ausstellung zu Nikolaus und Alice Harnoncourt. Sämtliche Veranstaltungen können kostenlos besucht werden, Ticketreservierungen sind unter möglich.
Das Festival wird am 30. Mai um 20 Uhr im Konzertsaal der UdK Berlin unter dem Titel „Revolte und Versöhnung“ eröffnet. Das Symphonieorchester der UdK Berlin unter der Leitung von Michael Sanderling spielt Brahms‘ „Doppelkonzert a-Moll“ und Schostakowitschs „Sinfonie Nr. 12 d-Moll“. Die Solisten sind Donghwi Ko (Violine) und Uladzimir Sinkevich (Violoncello).

In unserem FSJ sind wir bei drei großen Orchesterprojekten dabei, sind Ansprechpartnerinnen für Studierende und helfen bei den Konzerten und Wettbewerben der Universität mit.
Außerdem begleiten wir die Corporate Concerts, eine kammermusikalische Konzertreihe, von der Programmgestaltung, Raumkoordination bis zum Setzen des Programmheftes und stehen dabei in engem Kontakt mit den Studierenden und Professor*innen. Ein besonderes Highlight ist jedes Jahr das crescendo Festival, bei dem wir zwei Wochen lang jeden Tag Konzerte veranstalten und im Vorfeld organisieren.
Neben der Arbeit bei den Veranstaltungen gestalten wir Plakate und Flyer, setzen Programmhefte und halten die Website aktuell. Wir kümmern uns außerdem um die Social-Media-Kanäle der Fakultät, designen Stories, drehen Reels und bringen neue Ideen ein.

Da haben sie einiges gelernt: Unsere Studierenden arbeiteten drei Stunden mit Sir Simon Rattle an der 4. Sinfonie von Johannes Brahms in einem öffentlichen Workshop. Und der weltberühmte Dirigent gab unseren Studierenden einiges mit; „Don’t stop at the bar line!” – „Please, don’t play short notes!” und natürlich: “Find a good book!”

Am 20. November 2025 war das Symphonieorchester der UdK Berlin in der Philharmonie zu Gast. Unter der Leitung von Michael Schønwandt standen Werke von Benjamin Britten und Richard Strauss auf dem Programm.
Während im Saal noch die letzten Klänge nachhallten und sich das Publikum in die Pause begab, waren unsere FSJlerinnen Emilia und Anna mit Mikrofon und Kamera unterwegs. Hier gibt’s spontane Interviews und die unmittelbare Reaktionen auf das, was kurz zuvor noch im Saal zu hören war.
Klassik ist nicht leise Hintergrundmusik. Sie ist körperlich, direkt und emotional – und sorgt für einige sehr unterhaltsame Pausenmomente.
