Udita debuted for Hockey India in the U21 side back in 2016 before joining the Hockey India side in 2017. She currently holds 138 international caps and 17 goals and is a two time gold medal winner in the Asian Champions Trophy. Udita was even nominated at the Hockey India Awards for Defender of the year in 2025!
We are beyond ecstatic to have Udita play for the Cobras in a our debut season later this year in the Hockey One League.

In 2015, Udita’s life changed after the death of her father. Devastated by the loss, she found strength in her mother, who took complete responsibility for the household and became her biggest emotional support. Geetha Devi encouraged Udita to continue pursuing hockey despite the difficult circumstances. Just months later, in 2016, under Udita’s captaincy, India’s Under-18 team won a bronze medal at the Asia Cup. Udita later shared that her mother’s support helped her lead the team during one of the toughest phases of her life. She eventually made her senior debut for India in 2017 and went on to represent the country at the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cup, and Tokyo Olympics.
