In questi tre anni ho avuto la fortuna di lavorare con persone straordinarie. Un grazie speciale a tutti gli staff che mi hanno accompagnato e a tutte le persone che, ogni giorno, hanno condiviso con me questo percorso con disponibilità e passione.
Un pensiero speciale va a Orazio Russo. Grazie per aver creduto in me fin dal primo giorno e per la fiducia che mi hai sempre dimostrato. Non ti dimenticherò mai.
Ancora una volta non lascio questa maglia per mia volontà, né perché abbia scelto altri progetti. Il mio desiderio era quello di continuare ad allenare i miei ragazzi e questi colori, nel rispetto del contratto che mi legava al Catania.
Conoscere questa decisione con un maggiore anticipo, mi avrebbe dato il tempo necessario per programmare il mio futuro. Lascio con la consapevolezza di aver dato tutto, mettendo cuore, dedizione e passione in ogni allenamento, in ogni partita e in ogni scelta, con un unico obiettivo: far crescere i ragazzi.
Porterò con me tre anni intensi, fatti di emozioni, risate, delusioni, sacrifici e soddisfazioni. Tre anni che non dimenticherò mai e che mi hanno fatto crescere, prima come allenatore e soprattutto come uomo.
