ホテルに着いて「あれ？タグ・ホイヤーのロゴないな...展示してあったシャツにはあったはずなのに...」。
次の日、会場ですれ違う人たちのシャツを確認しても、自分のだけロゴがない。ってことでStoreへ。
不良品という大当たり🎯
交換すると言われたが、サイズがなくてサイズアップになってしまった。まぁそれもいい思い出！笑

私の現役時代は、東日本大震災復興支援「サントリー東北サンさんプロジェクト」の一環としての「チャレンジド・アスリート奨励金」でしたが、いまは名称が変わり、対象が東北3県から全国へと変化しました。
奨励金を活用させていただいた一人として、この奨励金はモチベーションアップと行動変化に繋がっていたと思います。長年にわたり、継続して支援されており、本当に素晴らしい取り組みだと感じています。

8/23-24に福島県のsnowpeak白河高原キャンプフィールドでBurano Inclusive Camp 2025に参加し【 】、
多くの方と素敵な時間を共有することができました

私はTOKYO2020パラリンピック競技大会を最後に、車いすバスケットボール選手を引退いたします。
2003年から18年間、車いすバスケを続けてこられたのは、私に関わってくださった皆様の理解とサポート、応援があったからです。そして何より、やっていて楽しかったからです。
2010年に日本代表に初選出され、それから11年間、日の丸を背負わせていただきました。日本代表としてプレーできたのは、TEAM EARTHと宮城MAXで基礎を学び、たくさんの選手と出会い、競争するチャンスをもらえたからです。岩佐ヘッドコーチ、及川ヘッドコーチ、京谷ヘッドコーチに選んでもらえたことで、世界で勝つことの難しさや楽しさを知ることができました。
TOKYO2020大会での私の目標は、「盛り上がった会場で、メダルを獲る」でした。
会場は無観客になってしまいましたが、日本中が盛り上がり、メダルを獲ることができました。本当に言葉にならないほど嬉しく、幸せです。
目標を達成したから引退するのではなく、前々から決めていました。
実は、前回の天皇杯（2019年）も自分にとって最後の天皇杯と決めて出場していました。その時は、怪我をしていて練習もできていませんでしたが、後悔しないようにと無理やり出場しました。日本代表では長期間、何度も練習に参加できない時期があり、迷惑をかけることが多くありました。しかし、たくさんの方のサポートがあり、これまで騙し騙しですが何とか続けてこられました。私の身体は限界に近づいてきており、選手として終わるタイミングだと考えるようになりました。日本代表も宮城MAXもトップを目指すチームである以上、中途半端な気持ちではできないという答えにたどり着きました。
また、日本の車いすバスケの環境や制度をより良くし、後輩やこれから車いすバスケをはじめる人のために何かできないか、というような事を考えるようになってきました。
今後の進む道は決まっていませんが、少しずつ新しい扉を開いていきたいと考えています。
パラスポーツ、車いすバスケットボールを一緒に盛り上げていきましょう。
最後に、これまで応援していただきまして本当にありがとうございました。
とても充実した最幸の車いすバスケットボール選手人生でした。
