I’m deeply grateful to live a life I’ll remember forever but I’ll be honest, it isn’t always easy. Some days I move through life with gratitude, and other days I lay in bed overthinking everything. I still doubt myself at times, but most days I believe there’s more coming.
Sobriety isn’t just about staying sober, it’s about self-control, confidence, and discipline. And I’m still choosing it every day.
Sometimes it still feels unreal to be recognized by media across Canada. Little Tyler never imagined sharing his true, authentic self with the world—he didn’t even know if he was going to make it.
Choosing to be open and vulnerable as a man is a reminder that it’s okay not to be okay. This journey has taken me from survival to thriving.

Because real power isn’t about control — it’s about helping others see their own worth, their own strength, their own light.
There’s a lot you won’t get from me at first glance. I may come off serious, reserved, or quiet — not because I lack personality, but because I value intention.
Give me a reason to speak, a reason to smile, and you’ll discover a man full of depth and surprises. I lead with grace, I move with respect, and when I open up, it’s genuine.
I don’t speak to impress — I speak to uplift. 🤎
I think back to that kid from Nelson House, trying to survive, wondering if life would ever get better. I remember the pain, the silence, and the strength it took to keep going.
Every move I made—from those dirt roads up north to Seoul, to every city I’ve walked since—came from a place of wanting more for myself, for my family, and for my people. 🤎
Be that example. We can all get out. We can all heal. We can all rise.
2 years 1 Month & 2Weeks Sober 🦅.
When I first stepped into modeling, I realized it wasn’t only about me — it was about representation. The fashion industry doesn’t always reflect Indigenous faces or stories, and for too long, our people were either unseen or misrepresented. Every time I step in front of a lens, I remind myself that a young Indigenous kid somewhere might see me and think, “If he can do it, maybe I can too.”
That’s why it’s so important to represent my community — not just in words, but in how I walk, how I carry myself, and how I share my story. I come from resilience, from teachings of my grandparents who taught me survival and tradition, and from a community that showed me both the struggles and the strength of being Indigenous. Modeling gives me a platform, but my identity gives that platform meaning.
For me, every runway, every photoshoot, and every opportunity is a chance to break barriers, reclaim space, and show the world that Indigenous men belong here too — not just as models, but as storytellers, leaders, and role models.📸🤎✨
Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, I want to take a moment to thank for sharing my story — not just as a designer, but as a survivor, a storyteller, and a proud Rocky Cree man walking a path of healing.
This recognition isn’t just about me — it’s about every young person from our communities who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or unsure of their place in the world. It’s about showing what’s possible when we reconnect with our culture, lean into our traditions, and believe in our purpose.
Through ribbon skirts, beadwork, and every piece I create, I’m stitching together the stories of our ancestors, the struggles of our present, and the hope for our future.
To my fellow Indigenous brothers and sisters: our stories matter. Our voices are powerful. Our culture is medicine. Today, we celebrate who we are — with pride, with resilience, and with love for the generations who came before us and the ones still to come.
Let’s keep rising, keep creating, and keep honouring the land and the teachings that made us.
With deep gratitude — hiy hiy🤎🦅
