Seven years ago, I (Trai) quit my finance job in London to travel the world. I began my adventure walking nearly 800 km across Spain on the Camino de Santiago.
Months later, I made my way to San Francisco… where Andy just happened to be driving the historic F line streetcar. 🚋
After a chance meeting, he offered me a ride to the airport, and—well—that ride changed everything.
We got married exactly two years later on a beach in Tulum, Mexico, right between both of our October birthdays (because yes, we’re those gays who love a coordinated moment).
Today marks 7 years together and 5 years married—and what a journey it’s been. From that first ride to building a life of travel, love, and endless adventure around the world.

For over two years, we explored the best of gay Mexico while waiting for our house to be completed in Tulum. We got married at in 2020 and became Mexican permanent residents in 2022.
