We’ve had so many highs and lows in almost 21 years of choosing each other but we really do have the life we dreamed, even if maybe we were a bit naive about how cute it would be to have twins 🤪

Honestly though so many smiles looking through these. This was such a huge growth year for me (2015/2016) and it makes me excited that a decade later my life is SO different but I’m still feeling encouraged and working towards goals and making changes.
Soooo much has happened in 10 years and this has really opened up my eyes to realise how much more I can achieve in this next 10!
We’re Tegan and Laura, although you’ll hear Laura called Moz 99% of the time.
We’re both boy mums (Moz has three almost 10, 6 and 2, Tegan has nearly 6-year-old twins).
We actually met at our corporate job and still work part-time in banking.
Moz also lives her best life as your friendly neighbourhood Thermomix consultant.
We were both the “can you put a platter table together for this event?” friends. So when the opportunity came to take over this beautiful business from Katie, it was the most obvious yes of our lives.
For us, Gather & Graze is not just about food. It’s about:
• helping people slow down
• creating a connection
• showing off all the goodness that Tassie grows and makes
• and taking the pressure off hosting so you can actually enjoy your people
A little about us:
Tegan: grew up in the kitchen with her mum who is a chef, so flavour, baking bread and those little finishing touches are her love language.
Moz: moved out at 18 with no cooking confidence, once made a minestrone that could have fed a small village, and now feeds a family of five like a queen. The Thermomix boosted her confidence and from there came her love for building platters.
We are deeply passionate about supporting local growers, makers and small businesses. It matters to us.
It’s part of our DNA.
Also, in full honesty, at our first event, we forgot about a quarter of what we needed.
Knives. Salmon. Macarons.
We just looked at each other, laughed, and drove back home.
Now we have lists. Many lists.

For 1 year I’ve been through every emotion. Completely heart broken to lose the man who fixed every issue I’ve ever had in my life.
Mad that you chose to keep your sickness to yourself until the final day.
Grateful that you chose to spend the last weeks of your life with your kids and grandsons and you got to see your siblings before you said goodbye.
Cherished that you would put us first and encouraged us to do crazy life changing trips knowing that if I knew you were sick I wouldn’t have left your side.
Thankful that I got to be with you this day 1 year ago above all else.
I miss you like absolute crazy. So much has happened this year that I’ve needed you for. I’ve turned to talk to you at swimming and been met with an empty chair. I’ve felt completely defeated as a mother and haven’t had your advice and help to know what to do next.
I’ve also grown. I’ve turned to people who feel like sunshine to my soul and found people to nurture and grow with. I’ve felt love from friends like I’ve never experienced who have been there for every minute and every step of my grief holding me when I couldn’t stand in all varying capacities.
I know without a doubt you’re watching your boys growing up and you would be so proud of them.
We’ve had perfect weather these past few days spending time where we spent your last good days together reminiscing on the fun we got up to this time last year.
Can you believe the man in this photo was fighting end stage cancer silently here? It’s wild that he had me thinking he had the flu for the week following this photo while confirming to the doctor a week later that he ‘had an Inkling’ he had cancer, wild.
I am so grateful to have been raised by you, I may have missed most of your features physically but I take so much pride having a ‘typical Riley personality’ and watching my boys sharing so many of our traits and carrying your name and reminding my boy how lucky he is to carry our name with him 💕
You were a sudden purchases yet planned for years. You’re the golden we always imagined our children growing close to, watching your boys like it’s your sole purpose in life.
Thank you for coming into our family and bringing joy that our home had lost before your arrival.
It’s been a long time since I posted free/low cost activities with kids but it’s time to bring them back!!
