I just felt like this needed a spot on the grid. This Little Peach Potato shows up every day and gives it her all. She soaks up all the love, is so good about her bathing and skin care, tries her darndest to get up on the couch without help (but we just ordered her a little custom ottoman so she can have a launch pad), loves to wrestle her brother, and can now walk 3/4 of a mile!!! She gives 100% every day, and if there's ever anything she's shy or unsure about, she tries again. Even the stairs which are hard for her, she tries so hard and has gotten so much stronger! Yesterday I had a medical procedure and was down for the count. I actually couldn't have her in the room with me at home but I could hear her pacing outside my door for hours wanting to check on me. She is just such a bright spot after such a rough year losing Tuggy and MJP, and I can't help but think they sent her, especially mjp!! She has stolen our hearts all the way, and she brings so much needed joy here. Our adoption journey was unfortunately very difficult prior to finding Peach and, but now I'm grateful because it led us to her. 🥰 Her healing journey continues, and we can't wait to see all the good things ahead for her.

The most beautiful walrus in all the land gained his wings last night, held by his beloved keepers, who kept telling him what a beautiful, strong, brave and good boy he is. He left on his own, he simply waited for the keepers visit, and slipped away unexpectedly while they held his paw. He joins at the 🌈 bridge his beloved Miss Janky Pickles, who was the love of his life, his brother Captain Cowpants, and his sister Ollie, all of whom taught him the art of the snuggle. He lived by the ABCs: Always Be Cuddling.

He fostered dozens and dozens of dogs, walked the red carpet, was a treasured therapy dog at the University of Utah and the 3rd District Court, where all of the kids adored him.

Food was his favorite thing besides Pickles and his keepers. He loved camping in the Rolling Enclosure and at the family cabin.

He was the most jovial boy, always happy to meet new friends and always wagging his tail at full speed. He always had FOMO and wanted to be included in everything. He joined the keepers at every meal, sitting at the kitchen table wearing his white tuxedo on his chest.

He had the softest blubberfall that smelled like the Newport Harbor, and in which, the keepers loved to bury their faces.

He will be eternally missed. 💔💔💔

I don't know how to even share this. I don't want it to be true. Our perfect, pure little Royal Space Cornichon is forever in the stars above. Our hearts are shattered, and we don't know how to live without her. And poor Tuggy. They shared the greatest love story ever told. Our sweet girl had been very sick the last couple of weeks. We thought it was a complication from an endoscopy after she ate some plastic. But she didn't get better, she got sicker and sicker. We tried one last exploratory surgery in hopes we would identify something we could treat, and instead we found her tummy was full of round cell sarcoma. Her amazing veterinary team tried everything. Internal medicine, oncology, critical care, and surgical vets all worked together to try and save her. In the end, we opted not to bring her out of anesthesia. We held her as she peacefully crossed over and told her how loved she was, not only by us, but all of you. We are shattered into a million pieces and we don't know how to go on without her. I hope to write her the fitting tribute she deserves in the coming days, but for now the sadness is overwhelming. Thank you all for loving her so much. 💔💔💔🌈🌈🌈
