As someone with a low sleep needs FOMO baby, I’m here to tell you that just because your baby needs more help & support from you to sleep, or if they don’t sleep 7-7 — it doesn’t mean you’re failing, and they aren’t broken.
It makes me so sad that as a society we are pushed to force our babies to be independent so soon. If an adult needs their partner or noise to fall asleep, or wakes up from a nightmare and needs to be soothed by their partner, that’s considered normal — but if a baby does it then it’s a problem.
