When you get those days to relax use it up to do something other than photography because you need that mental break. We all need a mental break from what we enjoy doing so that we can come back with a fresh mindset.
I always feel great when I have two or three days off from doing photo shoots. It sounds weird coming from me because I shoot a lot but even though I love what I do, I still want some time away from it to do other things that are also important like my mental and physical health and spending time with family as well.

I’ve been getting booked left and right from people I did shoots with already and new people/couples.
I love it. I love it when I get booked but sometimes just sometimes it can be a little much 😮💨.
Getting overbooked is going to be something that is going to happen a lot next year and I just want to make a post about this because this is something that will happen due to the pandemic.
The pandemic had a lot to do with postponing and canceling weddings/engagement shoots/other types of photo shoots & events. So now in 2022 photographers and videographers will be overbooked.
My fellow photographers and videographers, make sure you are ready to handle the strong wave of new clients and repeated clients because if you’re not ready then you’ll feel like you won’t be able to handle it.

I love to shoot outdoors. I have so much to play with when I shoot outdoors but most importantly I love to play with natural light and shadows.
When you get hang of utilizing both natural sunlight and shadows you can capture really amazing shots and you can even surprise yourself 😄😆.
These shots that I captured of Angel were shots that allowed me to actually use natural sunlight and shadow to its full potential because the sun was setting when I was capturing these shots of her. Especially the last two shots (swipe left to see).
Question: do you feel that it’s challenging sometimes to know how to use natural light and shadow during your shoots? If so, what makes it challenging for you?

So many things happened that day, especially for me, but their shoot was my last shoot of the day and I was very excited to shoot with them.
At first I thought they were going to be nervous in front of the camera but once I gave Marco direction he just did whatever he wanted to do literally forgot about me lol 😂. I can see that he was so in love with Brenda throughout the session.
Just the way couples treat each other and love each other through photo shoot sessions, it gives you insight on their unique love as a couple.
Even though I met them for the first and I think it was their first photo shoot together, they were pros. I think some of it was partly because of me but they did all of the work. At times they even ran with their own ideas 😄which is awesome. I love it when couples take their own ideas and just try it out. I love that.

I am fortunate and blessed to have the amount of content that I have at my disposal.
I remember having conversations with other photographers and they let me know that they run out of content to post on IG quickly.
To me, I always found that to be interesting because I always wondered how photographers run out of content to post so quickly. I always found that to be interesting.
