Surely, I am not the first to tell you that history repeats. Like a broken record, the world spins on its axis, repeating the same imperfection over and over. It has been said that those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Is that really all it is? (Last note: for those who didn’t know him, you may assume you have no relation to him, but truly if you listened to any of the music I put out in 2024, Chris is in there.. unseen but holding things together in the engineering, mixing and encouraging. His voice shows up at the very end of ‘Be My Glory’ (slide 6) as we all had fun laughing and clapping to the outro. He would always tell me ‘As For Me’ was his favorite of those songs and last night I was able to sing that at an event, unto God and in loving memory of him. I thank God for these keepsakes and how much this life meant to me and so many others. May he rest in glory💌)
