[NEW GEN TAKE OVER 2026] was a two-day event featuring eight local Okinawan bands, alongside guest acts OTUS (Tokyo hardcore) and TRUE FIGHT (Ibaraki youth crew hardcore). While the bands clashed with their distinct styles, the event was enveloped in the unique sense of unity and respect found in Okinawa—truly embodying the “New Generation” spirit suggested by the title.
A huge thank you to all the performers, vendors, venue staff, and everyone who attended. The event video is a live documentary capturing the “now” of the 2026 Okinawa local scene. We hope you enjoy it from start to finish. Support your local scene.
