In a beautifully moving Middle School Chapel talk, one of our students reminded us that true hospitality isn’t about grand gestures—it lives in genuine acts of kindness and moments of true interaction. Whether it’s sharing a story with someone on line at the food pantry, an encouraging word in the hallway, or a warm smile to a peer, these everyday moments are what build the heart and soul of our community.

We are so inspired by the empathy, wisdom, and warmth shared from the Chapel podium. It is a beautiful reminder that we all have the power to make a lasting impact today.

Let’s spread the warmth: What is one small act of hospitality or kindness that made your day recently? Drop it in the comments below!
Things are getting a little... effervescent in the lab today!

Our students are diving deep into the world of biochemistry by exploring enzymes with yeast. By using yeast as a source of the enzyme catalase, they are witnessing a high-speed chemical breakdown in real-time.

It’s more than just watching bubbles rise. Our young scientists are testing limits by manipulating temperature and concentration to see how they impact enzyme activity, measuring success by tracking bubble height as a tangible metric of biological efficiency, and analyzing data and discovering exactly what makes a reaction “pop.”

There’s nothing quite like the “aha!” moment that happens when textbook theory turns into a bubbling beaker of discovery.
Trinity School Class of 2026!

Behind these smiles are years of dedication, lifelong friendships, and countless moments that have left an indelible mark on our community. You arrived with curiosity, and you leave today as leaders, thinkers, and compassionate changemakers ready to make a difference in the world.

As you step out of Trinity’s halls and into your next great chapter, carry your values proudly and remember that you always have a home here. We are so proud of the legacy you leave behind and so excited by the bright futures ahead of you.

Congratulations Class of 2026! The world is waiting for you.

There’s something truly magical about Commencement week—the anticipation, the bittersweet goodbyes, and that unforgettable feeling of stepping into the future.

As we prepare to celebrate the incredible Class of 2026 this week, we’re taking a walk down memory lane to honor the Trinity classes ending in “6” who walked these halls before them.

To the classes of 2016, 2006, 1996, 1986, 1976, 1966, 1956, and beyond: it feels like just yesterday you were the ones counting down the days to graduation. While the campus may evolve and the fashion trends certainly change (looking at you, vintage yearbooks!), the spirit, pride, and lifelong bonds of the Trinity community remain exactly the same.

Help us welcome the newest generation of “6s” to the alumni family!

Share your favorite graduation memory or leave some words of wisdom for our seniors in the comments below.

We were honored to welcome alumnus and current parent Andrew Mordkoff ’02 to speak at our Lower School Homecoming Chapel. Andrew looked back on his years as a Trinity athlete, sharing a moving story from his most memorable Homecoming game.

His message to our youngest scholars? The scoreboard is only part of the story. The challenges we face on the court are often where we find our greatest strengths—transforming adversity into lifelong lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, and the power of community. Thank you, Andrew, for reminding us that the bonds built during the "tough games" are the ones that carry us the furthest!
Service is a verb at Trinity.

Our Middle School Service Council has been busy strengthening our Community Circle through hands-on action across the Upper West Side. From sorting donations for our annual shoe drive to honing culinary skills in the Teaching Kitchen, these students are putting empathy into practice.

Whether they are prepping fresh meals at the West Side Campaign Against Hunger or supporting the team at Advent Church, our Middle School students are learning that a community is built one interaction at a time.
In Trinity’s Kindergarten togetherness isn’t just a word—it’s a way of being. Whether they’re collaborating on a new project or exploring the world through play, our youngest scholars are busy cultivating a sense of childhood wonder that lights up the room.

These are the moments where the first special bonds are formed—the kind of friendships that start in the block corner and carry them through all thirteen years of their Trinity journey.
Upper School Chapel Moment: Highlights from Schubert’s Mass in G

The soaring harmonies of Schubert’s Mass in G are more than just a beautiful sound—they are the visible result of a three-year journey. From Vivaldi to Mozart to Schubert, we’ve watched the scaffolding fall away as our students took the lead. Seeing our choir and orchestra breathe as one and our student soloists command the stage is an expression of musical maturity and historical depth that comes from years of intentional, collaborative growth.
