To celebrate the end of this lovely musical boingy journey, I invite two of my favourite selectors and musical mentors, Simon Scott and Mike BC, to pilot the controls of the Outlaws spaceship one final time and show us how it’s done. 🚀
There’s not much that Simon hasn’t done in his long career as a DJ and promoter. Every DJ who has passed through Leeds is acquainted with the enigmatic owner of legendary Tribe Records with his encyclopaedic – and frankly unfathomable – knowledge of dance music from the last 50 years. Simon runs more parties than the rest of us put together with SubDub, Club Cosmos, Amado, BEAMS, Dimensions Festival and Outlook under his belt. Phew!
Mike BC is a DJ’s DJ and one of the loveliest people on the scene. Insane breadth in taste and always has the deepest cuts ranging from afro boogie, chuggy downtempo, jackin house, to dub and cold wave.
There’ll be no tinsel at this party! Burn your crackers and bin your baubles as this is Christmas done Outlaws style. 🔥
Expect wicked house selections featuring some choice cuts from Chicago and Las Islas Baleares. 🌴
