Als niet-skiër vroeg ik me af: is Zwitserland in de winter ook voor mij magisch? Het antwoord kwam al snel… ja. En hoe!
Tijdens de Grand Train Tour of Switzerland liet ik me per trein meevoeren langs helderblauwe meren, stille dalen en besneeuwde bergpassen. Gewoon zitten, kijken en ademen.
Van wakker worden met uitzicht op
Andermatt tot wandelen (oké… chocolademelk drinken 😉) in de sneeuw bij Gütsch. Van panoramatreinen als de Glacier- en GoldenPass Express tot hangbruggen op 3000 meter, kaasfondue in houten chalets en lichtkunst in Luzern.✨

☕️ – verstopt boven in de Wagner’sche Buchhandlung, perfect voor koffie, taart of een lekkere brunch. 📚🥑
☕️ – een verborgen parel met specialty koffie, premium matcha en huisgemaakte baksels. Ideaal voor een koffiedate of een drankje to go.

🎨 Nyhavn – ja, super toeristisch, maar absoluut de moeite waard. De kleurrijke huisjes langs het water zijn een perfect fotomoment. 🥐 Hart Bakery – wij fietsten hierheen vanaf ons hotel en werden beloond met goede koffie, heerlijke broodjes en een gezellige vibe. 🪑Design Museum Danmark – hier leer je alles over de geschiedenis van Deens design. De museumwinkel is gevaarlijk leuk met alle posters en cadeautjes. 🌅 Reffen – in de zomer dé place to be! Een grote outdoor foodmarket met gerechten uit alle windstreken. Tip: bestel kleine hapjes zodat je overal iets kunt proberen. 🎡 Tivoli – wij kochten alleen een parkticket (dus zonder attracties) en dat was al prachtig. Vooral ’s avonds met alle lampjes is het super sfeervol. 🍞Lille Bakery – een industriële bakkerij met geweldig brood en toppings. Mijn favoriet: ricotta met tomaat. Echt een aanrader! 🦋Botanische Tuin – zowel buiten als in de kassen prachtig. Er is zelfs een vlindertuin! 🍷Restaurant Bambi – een tapasbar waar je gezellig eet en drinkt. De bruschetta en feta in filodeeg waren fan-tas-tisch. 🌳Rosenborg Slot & parken – hier kun je heerlijk wandelen. In de parken vind je bovendien leuke restaurantjes en koffietentjes.
