Yesterday it was a casual –14°C (aka freezer mode). #schnee
Yes, it was absolutely #freezing. Yes, your face hurt. But staying at home wrapped in three blankets means missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime #Hannover event.
#Winter days like this are extremely rare here.
According to my neighbour (a very reliable source), this hasn’t happened in eight years. The lakes are frozen, the city looks like a postcard, and Hannover has been snowed on for an entire week without immediately turning grey again. Incredible.
We hope you enjoyed it and managed to see the frozen lakes yesterday or today. If not, go tomorrow—because after that, the weather will remember it’s Hannover and start raining again.
