My daughter asked me recently what Dr.King would tell the modern day protesters and activists to do. I told her he’d most likely say “we are not initiating or responding with violence of any kind - even if someone spits on you, releases a German Shepherd or fire hose on you”, and so on.
Thankfully my mother made my little sister and me watch nightly news while we were just little kids. I can remember the excitement though when Dr.King first became prominent. He was nonviolent then with Rosa Park’s protest and until his dying day in Memphis where he had been helping the sanitation workers PEACEFULLY deal with their situation.
We learned to overwhelming power of the boycott ( 👍🏽 ) AND the power of peace. Peace in a storm.
Thank God that He sent Dr.King as the leader for our cause.

My daughter and I enjoyed a delightful mother/daughter holiday trip that was all about dazzling decorations, memorable markets, scrumptious Southern cuisine, spa services, historic sights, breathtaking fireworks and all things charming and Christmasy.
Colonial Williamsburg is a large, open-air living-history museum that respectfully and sensitively recreates 18th-century life in Williamsburg. It really celebrates the holiday season with events happening EVERY DAY from Thanksgiving until New Years

Since visiting once during late March through early April, I’ve been seeking renown Cherry Blossom locations here in the states and abroad and so far NO PLACE even comes close.
The government itself seemingly has made a concerted effort to be number one in spring beauty as there are magnificent displays country-wide. Dazzling Cherry trees even lined our Tokyo landing strip at the airport. OMG‼️
Book your trip soon. ’s guided tour itineraries include stops in a variety of cities throughout the country, so some place is sure to have the adorable little gems in bloom while you’re there.

I've cruised many, many times and I gotta tell you I'm lovin this ship in so many ways. Seriously, Oceania Cruises has figured out lots of the little things and the biggies that make a cruise experience exceptional. I do not know how they do it, but there's never long lines at the buffet NOR are all the lounge chairs taken at the pool by 10 a.m.
Anyway - this was the perfect place to experience and celebrate visiting my 100th country. Actually celebrating any significant event or milestone is more festive on a cruise ship. Sooo I'm gonna be celebrating until I disembark 🛳️
