The Budapest Castle Tunnel is a historic 350-meter-long tunnel that runs under the Buda castle hill, connecting Clark Ádám Square (named after the architectof the same tunnel) with the Krisztinaváros district. I
t was built between 1853 and 1857 and served a key role in connecting the newly built Chain Bridge to the city.

Singapore has a beautiful mix of traditional and modern architecture, from the old town neighborhoods, some Arabic influenced, some India, others even western culturally influenced.
From skyscrapers to huts, I have specially enjoyed the Fort Canning Park and specifically where this tunnel appears. It's a sinple old tunnel access that used to be part of a fort, but the way that is surrounded by nature and the way the light enters and touches the staircase it's simply magical!

Thailand was not on my original itinerary for this southeast asia backpacking trip. I always wanted to leave Thailand for a one stop trip, but the opportunity to have living here and visit her for a few days change my mind!

Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok, located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. It is hard to miss as its most striking feature is its central prang, which is one of the tallest in Bangkok.
With beautiful Khmer-style spires, richly decorated with colorful porcelain and seashells, this temple is simply stunning!
Modest dress for both men and women is recommended when visiting the temple, with shoulders and knees covered.

What a beauty Ha Long Bay is!
After Hanoi you can say that Ha Long city is quite small and not so vibrant, and that would be an accurate statement... however, the food I've got there was simply yummy! Fresh oysters and the best Pho of my life! There are many options, I've opted to go to this:
From the same port I chose to go for a 1 day trip along Ha Long Bay (you can choose longer trips with 2 and even 3 days) but for me that was enough as it took me to see Ha Long Bay from above, visit some local caves, kayak a secluded bay for 30 minutes and they give you food and drinks while on board. The ship also stops at one beach in case you're up for it!
Overall it was a great experience!

Rising sun behind Angkor Wat temple complex!
So many years I've waited to visit Cambodja and Angkor Wat, finally come true while backpacking Southeast Asia in 2025.
Complex opens 5am and, as expected, it is crowded of families, solo travelers, backpackers and tourist guides looking for clients! You walk through the gates it is still totally dark, exploring your way through, the first glimpses of light slowly appear as you approach the main temple. As you hear historical, mystical and geopolitical facts, the sun rises bringing with it the most magical orange lights and reflections! You take a deep breath, stay in silence and just take in all the energy that one more magical sunrise brings to your soul!
Decided to stay at which is 10min away from the complex and one of the most beautiful natural retreats I've ever been! Wooden chalets by the pool, amazing massage center, incredible staff... totally recommend it!
My stay in Siem Reap could not have been better and the experience totally unforgettable! I also managed to coordinate my transfer to Kampot through the hotel staff, being smooth and triuble free!
