I had always dreamed of having them with me for my 100th country. Since that wasn’t possible, I carried them with me this way—feeling their presence in every icy sunrise, every moment of awe, every milestone crossed.😍
This was at 10:45 pm, and yet the world was glowing.
In December, during the summer solstice, Antarctica gets 24 hours of daylight. The sun slowly dips around 11 pm, rises again by 2 am, and the hours in between melt into an endless, surreal dusk.
Standing there, watching the sky blush and soften over endless ice, I felt incredibly small and unbelievably lucky at the same time.
Hands down, this has to be one of the most unforgettable sunsets of my life. 🌅

This was way up on my Antarctica wishlist ❄️🦭
I had only seen these seals sprawled on icebergs in Nat Geo documentaries… but watching them up close, in their natural habitat, was a whole different kind of thrill!!!
Fun facts that blew my mind:
• 🦭Antarctica is home to six species of seals, and some of them sleep up to 15 hours a day on the ice.
• 🦭Weddell seals can dive over 600 metres and hold their breath for more than an hour.
• 🦭Their blubber isn’t just fat — it’s a super-insulator that keeps them alive in –40°C temperatures.
• 🦭They often choose icebergs simply because they’re safe from predators and close to breathing holes in the ice.

Nothing compares to the raw, untouched magic of this white continent.
The last few days have felt like a dream I don’t want to wake up from.
💯 countries done — and my 100th couldn’t have been more unique or more special.
From witnessing the entire penguin life cycle to spotting whales, orcas, seals etc to standing in awe of massive icebergs and jumping into the Antarctic Ocean… this journey has been so heartwarming & absolutely unforgettable. 🤍❤️
