Beaucoup de choses à dire sur cette compétition. Il y a 6 mois en arrière, j’étais blessé, et cela depuis trois ans. J’ai eu la chance de rencontrer mon coach pour réparer la machine. J’ai pu faire ma première compétition sans douleur et j’en suis très reconnaissant.
Pendant la préparation, me voilà à faire des échecs sur la fin des trois mouvements alors que tout se passait à merveille. J’étais fort, très fort. J’avais même réussi à tirer 300 kilos. J’ai commencé à avoir des douleurs, donc forcément cela a impacté mes entraînements.
J’ai fait l’erreur de m’entraîner à un poids de corps de 87,7 kilos, puis, 5 semaines avant la compétition, d’arriver le jour J à 82,7 kilos. Perdre 5 kilos de poids de corps a énormément joué sur ma forme, ma fatigue et mes performances. J’ai eu beaucoup de problèmes de sommeil, des problèmes dans ma vie, et j’ai même dit au coach, une semaine avant, que j’annulais la compétition. Mais nous l’avons fait.
Je tire une belle leçon, et que du positif, de cette compétition. Je sais ce que je ne dois pas reproduire et ce que je dois faire pour être plus fort.
