Photography is a type of art which is quite new compared to other more cultural types of art like dancing and painting. It dates back to 1826 when the first photograph was taken. Since then a lot of things changed and photography evolved. Especially the development of a photo has nowadays almost nothing in common with former days. A photo today mostly consists of 1s and 0s - some values of Red, Blue and Green for every point on the image. Everything can be altered by using software and sitting on a desktop or even anywhere else because the lightrooms of these days can be found on mobile devices too.
So is there a charme to edit photos? Yes! In my opinion it’s probably one of the most creative tasks to decide which colors you want to use giving the image a certain look. A look which can be considered as your fingerprint.
I love editing my photos even it can be considered as the most time consuming part of it:)
That’s why and me decided to edit the same shot in our own way. It’s nothing about which one is better, more colorful or sharper. It’s about personal preferences and how we see our world. One is more natural, the other less. One is brighter, the other darker.
It’s for you to see that one very moment of time is perceived different by every human. What is completely fine - but we should talk about it - because if not problems could rise 🧘🏻♂️
