What a weekend in Passau 🔥

The very first edition of the X-Factor Camp was a full success – 27 amazing players who gave it everything for two days straight 💪

Together with 3 additional coaches, we focused on developing individual strengths and building a game plan that puts real pressure on your opponent – creating points and forcing mistakes.

Huge thank you to and for the great organization and incredible hospitality 🙌

Also big thanks to my partners and for the support and the top-quality equipment – especially during the Rapidfire Challenge ⚡️
Shout-out to the winners Minh & Daniel with a best time of 11,84s 🏆

Next stop: Dresden in May – all about doubles 👀

NEW BADMINTON CAMPS 2026

This year I’m launching two completely new camp concepts — each designed to help you improve a different part of your game.

🇩🇪 Important: All coaching will be in German.

🔥 X-Faktor – Develop Your Weapons

Perfect for experienced players who want to become more dangerous on court.

Learn how to
• identify your strengths
• build real point-winning weapons
• create pressure and finish rallies
• develop a clear personal game plan

⚙️ Tools to Win – Build Your Technical Foundation

This camp focuses on the most important key to improvement: great technique.

Better technique means
• more power
• more efficiency
• more shot variety

Suitable for players with little experience as well as experienced club players who want to sharpen their fundamentals.

Both camps include:

🏸 Two full days of structured training
🎯 Coaching on performance level
🧠 Individual feedback on technique & tactics
🏸Testing the newest YONEX rackets
🏆 Competitions with prizes

The next camp is already coming up next month. If you want all the details:

As the year comes to an end, it’s time to look back on my coaching year.

Once again, it was a year full of exciting moments behind the court, countless intense training hours on court — but above all, it was a year with many goodbyes and farewells.

Players leaving the training base, taking the next step in their journey, moving on to new challenges and starting a new chapter.

Goodbyes are never easy.
You share countless hours on court, at tournaments, through setbacks and breakthroughs, so letting go always comes with mixed emotions.

At the same time, all these goodbyes once again reminded me how special this job really is and that is about so much more than badminton.
As a coach, you get the chance to accompany people during a very important phase of their lives, and I see it as a huge privilege to be part of someone’s story.

What became very clear to me as well:
Every story is different.
We all come from different backgrounds, with different strengths and weaknesses — so it’s only logical that every path looks different.

For me, there is one thing that I want to prmote and that should always connect all these paths:
a genuine love for badminton, no matter where the journey eventually leads.

So in the coming year, I want to become even better at supporting each player on their individual path — listening more, understanding better and adapting my coaching even more to the person behind the athlete.

I’m incredibly proud of all my players.
Of those who have been part of this journey for a long time.
Of those who are just starting to write their story as there are also many new kids that joined our center this year.
And of those who have moved on — whose paths I will continue to follow from a distance.

I’m grateful for the past year and truly excited for the next chapters ahead.

See you in 2026!

Tobi

Competing myself is no longer my priority, but stepping on court again reminded me how much I’ve always loved this game. I don’t play many tournaments anymore, which makes moments like this even more special.

A huge thank you to for being such a great partner this weekend at the national ranking tournament and after two runner-up finishes, we finally did it – third time’s a charm 🏆

Now time to get back to coaching and kicking off a new school year at our academy with an amazing group of athletes and coaches. Excited for everything ahead! 💪🏸
