Poul Henningsen dedicated much of his career to shaping light rather than simply designing lamps. His pioneering multi-shade system was developed to eliminate harsh glare and create a warm, comfortable glow inspired by natural light. Designed in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, his lamps became some of the most influential lighting designs of the 20th century and remain icons of Scandinavian design today. Nearly a century later, PH lamps still feel remarkably modern — proof of how visionary Henningsen truly was.

Gunnar Falsig was a Danish designer and cabinetmaker known for creating furniture that balanced practicality with sculptural elegance. Working with Falsigs Møbelfabrik during the golden age of Danish modern design, he specialized in refined teak pieces with organic detailing and thoughtful craftsmanship. His work often focused on making everyday living smarter — without sacrificing beauty — which is exactly why pieces like this corner cabinet still feel incredibly modern today.

The ribbed sliding glass adds a nice bit of texture, while the brass supports keep it feeling light and refined. Fully modular too, so you can adjust it to your space.
Works perfectly as a home office, bookcase, or a proper statement wall.

Poul Hundevad focused on honest materials and functional design, often working with modular concepts that could adapt over time. His work is all about quality and simplicity, and you can really see that in this piece. Well-made, timeless, and easy to live with.

Johannes Andersen was one of Denmark’s most innovative designers of the mid-century period, known for pushing beyond traditional forms while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship. His work often features organic shapes, thoughtful details, and clever functionality—exactly what you see in this highboard. Andersen collaborated with top Danish manufacturers like J. Skaaning & Søn, producing pieces that remain highly collectible today for their quality and timeless design.

The rosewood is absolutely stunning in person — deep tones, rich contrast, and a grain that keeps drawing your eye. The sculpted handles are subtle but so well executed, and the whole piece sits elegantly on those tapered legs, giving it that light, architectural feel.
Open it up and it only gets better: adjustable shelving, beautifully made pull-out trays, and that satisfying level of detail you only see in high-end Danish furniture from this era.
A proper statement piece, but still incredibly functional.
Prefer it in teak instead? I’ve got you covered — I currently have the same Model 13 in teak available as well. That version features slightly shortened legs, giving it a more compact, grounded look. Check the last photo to see the difference.

He developed the PH lighting system in the 1920s with a clear idea in mind: no glare, just soft and comfortable light. The three-shade design spreads the light evenly, making it both practical and atmospheric — and honestly, it still holds up perfectly today.
This piece is produced by Louis Poulsen, a Danish lighting brand that’s been around since 1874. They’ve built their name on working with strong designers and creating lighting that shapes a space, not just lights it.
I currently have three PH4 pendant lamps available. Each one has been:
– Carefully cleaned and restored
– Fitted with a fresh orange textile cable
– Equipped with the original (and often missing) orange diffuser plate
– In beautiful vintage condition, with light signs of age
Not just a lamp, but a proper design classic that still feels right at home in a modern interior. Works great above a dining table, in a reading corner, or anywhere you want a bit of character.
