Een groot deel van Europa, waaronder het zuiden van Nederland, staat letterlijk in de fik. Brengen deze bosbranden dan eindelijk langdurige inzichten bij de mens, of zijn we straks in de winter deze uitzonderlijke hitte alweer snel vergeten?
De smeltende ijsjes staan voor Hedy Tjin symbool voor de hitte en een aarde die in brand staat. Op een zoete, bijna aantrekkelijke en kleurrijke manier wil zij de aandacht trekken.
