We did workshops, writing, illustrating & crafting, with 300 kids and adults. We had nice conversations and talks all over the country, we loved everything that’s been made! And all the happy faces of the kids, even the too-cool-for-school-kids of the class, ended up with a proud face and creation 😎😍
We donated a lot of books, and hope they will be read over and over again. We created a video of every chapter where the book is read out loud, for kids who find reading difficult.
And now we hope the schools and other youth organisations will continue with our book by using the educational pack that’s created especially for Surinamese school kids.

Tijdens ons vrolijke familiefestival duiken kinderen van 4 t/m 10 jaar in kleurrijke werelden vol verhalen, geïnspireerd op de mooiste kinderboeken van het afgelopen jaar. De hele dag door zijn er voorstellingen te bezoeken en activiteiten te doen in de groene gaarden en zonnige zalen van de Tolhuistuin, zowel binnen als buiten.
