I was a YouTuber, planning my entire life around videos, somehow finishing my Abitur, barely but successfully.
That was also the year I tried to be a model.
Maybe I would have fit right in with the back then.
That same year I drove over 5,500 km through Norway with friends, saw the northern lights, and experienced one of the best trips of my life.
High highs, low lows, bad skin back then and still today.
Ten years ago. Crazy to look back.
2016 war Chaos im besten und schlechtesten Sinne.
Ich war YouTuber, habe meinen Alltag komplett nach Videos ausgerichtet und irgendwie mein Abitur geschafft, gerade so, aber geschafft.
Das war auch das Jahr, in dem ich versucht habe, Model zu sein.
Vielleicht wäre ich damals ja gut bei den Elevator Boys gelandet.
Im selben Jahr bin ich mit Freunden über 5.500 km durch Norwegen gefahren, habe die Nordlichter gesehen und einen der besten Trips meines Lebens erlebt.
Extreme Höhen, extreme Tiefen, damals schlechte Haut und bis heute kein großes Upgrade.
Zehn Jahre her. Verrückt, das alles so zu sehen.

Wolverine Porträt Tattoo. Einer der coolsten Marvel Charaktere überhaupt, gespielt von Hugh Jackman. Ich erinnere mich noch genau daran, wie meine Mum und ich 2006 oder 2007 unbedingt die X Men The Last Stand DVD schauen mussten und so schnell wie möglich nach Hause sind. Umso schöner, Wolverine jetzt selbst tätowieren zu dürfen.
Bei diesem Porträt im Frame habe ich mich bewusst für eine dunklere Umsetzung entschieden, inspiriert von Ralf Nonnweiler, für maximalen Kontrast und eine saubere, perfekte Abheilung.

Ich habe dieses Portrait unglaublich gerne gestochen. Augen erzählen so viel und geben jedem Motiv eine besondere Tiefe. Genau diese weiche, realistische Wirkung liebe ich beim Tätowieren. Ich würde sehr gerne öfter solche Portraits stechen, besonders Motive, die sich auf Ausdruck und Realismus konzentrieren.
