I have to say, choosing to make a change 2 years ago, quitting drinking and smoking and being physically active, brought me so much happiness, peace and joy. I got to meet amazing new people, I feel better than ever, and I look forward to something every day I wake up.
And when a day really sucks… I know where to put my excess energy. My only problem with it is that I am very ambitious and I want to make progress and push hard, so it takes a lot of my time to do that.
But damn.. it paid off! And today I ripped a few PR’s, such as the 180kg RDL for 2 reps. Probably could squeeze out a few more, but let’s keep the from clean. No sloppy playing and no sloppy form! 🎸
