SpaceX finally filed and their IPO disclosures.

The company did $18.7 billion in revenue in 2025, with Starlink making up 70% of sales. But it also lost $4.9 billion in 2025 and another $4.3 billion in Q1 2026 alone.

With those numbers, the $2 trillion valuation seems insane.

At the same time, Elon is out there saying AGI could beat humans in 1-2 years, humanoid robots could hit 100 million to 1 billion by 2030, and AI infrastructure may eventually move into orbit.

Obviously, he’s talking his book. But this IPO is clearly about a lot more than rockets.

The biggest difference between gambling and investing is that time works against you in gambling and for you in investing.

In gambling, the longer you play, the more likely you are to lose because the math is tilted in the house’s favor. Buffett has called gambling a “tax on stupidity,” and he has said he finds it “socially revolting” when governments prey on citizens by making it easier, rather than harder, to gamble.

Investing in broad index funds works in the opposite direction. In the short run, stocks are volatile and unpredictable. But over longer stretches, your odds of making money rise because you are owning productive businesses that grow earnings, generate cash flow, and compound over time.

That is why gambling is usually about short-term luck, while investing is about long-term ownership.

One is built to extract your money. The other usually rewards patience, discipline, and time.

Kevin Warsh’s big macro bet is that AI will do what most inflation hawks are not prepared for: make the economy more productive and more deflationary at the same time.

His argument is pretty straightforward. If AI helps workers produce more output per hour, automates routine tasks, and lowers the cost of delivering goods and services, then prices should fall over time, not rise. That kind of productivity boom would give the Fed more room to cut rates without reigniting inflation.

Warsh has been making that case publicly, though he also acknowledged at his Senate hearing that the timing and magnitude are still uncertain.

The bullish read is obvious: better margins, faster growth, and lower inflation. The catch is that these gains may take time to show up in the real economy.

For instance, AI could be inflationary in the short run because of huge spending on chips, power, data centers, and labor re-training before the productivity payoff arrives.

What do you think about Warsh’s view on AI?

Kevin Warsh’s confirmation hearing was a mess.

Elizabeth Warren went after his undisclosed investment vehicles and even pressed him on whether any were tied to entities associated with Jeffrey Epstein.

At the same time, Democrats hammered him over whether he would simply be a Trump puppet at the Fed. Warsh pushed back, saying monetary policy would remain “strictly independent” and that Trump never asked him to promise rate cuts.

The more important takeaway for markets was his policy message.

Warsh called for a kind of monetary “regime change,” arguing the Fed mishandled the pandemic era and needs a new inflation framework. He also signaled support for shrinking the Fed’s massive balance sheet slowly and deliberately, with the idea that a smaller balance sheet could eventually create room for lower rates without losing control of inflation.

Clearly, Warsh has a different view of how the Fed should be run. That could create some volatility if he is confirmed.

What did you think about Warsh’s testimony?

Tom Lee thinks the next 18 to 24 months could be one of the best stretches of our lifetime for US stocks.

His case is pretty simple: the big tail risks tied to the recent Iran war have faded, the U.S. economy is holding up better than expected, and retail investors who sat on the sidelines during the rally may now be forced back into stocks.

Lee also points to rising earnings estimates, solid jobs data, and improving ISM numbers as evidence that the economy is more resilient than people think. On top of that, the U.S. still dominates where it matters most: tech, healthcare, and fintech. He is sticking with a 7,700 S&P 500 target by year-end 2026.

As long as earnings growth - particularly Mag7 - stay at trend, this call is not that far fetched. That’s especially true now that S&P 500 and Nasdaq valuations have fallen to multi-year lows.

Most importantly, despite stocks being at all-time highs, few out there believe this rally can sustain. These types of disconnects have often been contrarian but signals in my career, and I don’t think this time is different.

What do you think about Tom Lee’s forecast?
