Cue the tears. The day started with rain, but I had my prayer warriors praying for the rain to end… and it did. And it was perfect! IN SPIRIT / IN TRUTH
“God is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24
These words have layers upon layers of depth and meaning in my life. I actually don’t think there is enough space to write it all in a caption… but these words were once spoken by Jesus to a Samaritan woman at the well. It’s hard to come up with a quick definition- but on the surface, the short answer highlights that God is everywhere. He is Spirit. He is not contained to some type of “box”- in other words, He is ALWAYS with us. Every second. Every hour. Every day. Not just in a church building. Just like God cannot be contained, neither should our worship for Him. We should worship freely anywhere, anytime… in private, in public, in truth. Always in truth. Meaning, with pure intentions. A genuine attitude. Not for a pat on the back, not because it’s trending, gets us “likes” or makes us look like a “good person.” But rather in true desire for HIS will. Even when it doesn’t make sense, we trust that He is faithfully walking alongside us turning our ashes to beauty to glorify His kingdom. And I personally know this to be true. This is just the surface of the meaning of these words…

POV: The wedding day. Have you ever had a gut feeling where you feel like something beautiful is about to happen? I know that feeling well. I felt it for weeks leading up to this gorgeous wedding destination for Ashley and Devon. And my instinct proved me right. It’s obvious when you look through these images how pretty everything looked… truly breathtaking. But what you can’t see is the beauty that lives inside each person that I had the honor to capture. A truly kind hearted, genuine family with a love shared between so many. A very big congratulations to Ashley and Devon… what a day!!!!
