The stock has arrived for Saturday’s market at Campfield and seeing boxes full of prints with my photographs on them is a pretty surreal feeling.
For years, this page has been about sharing Manchester through my lens. From early morning sunrises to rainy nights in the city centre, you’ve all followed along, liked, commented, shared and supported what I do.
This weekend is the first time I’ll be putting that work out into the world in a completely different way.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. There’s a big difference between posting a photo online and standing behind a stall hoping people connect with your work enough to take a print home.
But sometimes you’ve just got to back yourself and see where it leads.
So here they are. Freshly delivered, ready for Campfield, and ready for their first outing.
If you’re around on Saturday, come and say hello. Whether you’re looking for a print or just fancy a chat about Manchester, photography, or both, it’d be great to see some familiar faces.
Now I just need to work out how to set up a market stall… 📸😂

As part of my day job, myself and colleagues from Manchester and San José, Costa Rica, took part in a monument hunt around the city centre. It was a great excuse to step away from the desk for a few hours and see Manchester through fresh eyes.
For the Costa Rican team, it was a chance to explore a city many of them had never visited before. For me, it was an opportunity to play tour guide, sharing some of the history behind the buildings, statues and streets that we often walk past without a second thought.
Manchester has a habit of hiding its stories in plain sight. From its industrial roots to the people who helped shape the city, every monument has something to say if you take a moment to stop and look.
Here are a few images from the afternoon. 📸

One minute you’re walking through Castlefield, taking in the red brick, the railway arches and the city’s industrial history. The next, traffic has come to a standstill because a gang of geese have decided they own the road.
To be fair, they probably do.
No rush, no concern for anyone else’s schedule, just a family outing right through the middle of the city. Cyclists waiting patiently, pedestrians watching on, and these feathered Mancunians carrying on as if they pay council tax.
It’s moments like this that remind me why I love photographing Manchester. Beyond the skyline, the architecture and the big events, it’s the little unexpected scenes that tell the real story of the city. A split second where urban life and nature collide, creating something you couldn’t plan if you tried.
Manchester: where even the wildlife walks with confidence.

A HUGE step from selling faceless over Instagram
Nervous but excited
Not sure how it’s gonna go but if I don’t do it I’ll never know
After being told countless times that I should start selling my photography prints, I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and give it a go.
Tonight I placed the order for my first batch of prints, along with all the other bits and pieces I think I’ll need for a market stall. The reality of it has definitely started to sink in now.
If I’m honest, I’m still not 100% convinced it’s a good idea. Putting your work out there in a different way feels like a bit of a risk. Photography has taken me to some incredible places over the years and introduced me to so many amazing people, but this feels like a completely new challenge.
So this Saturday you’ll find me at Campfield Artisan Market with a selection of Manchester prints and hopefully enough confidence to get through the day.
If you’ve ever enjoyed my photos, supported the page, bought me a coffee, shared a post, left a comment, or simply followed along on the journey, I’d genuinely love it if you could come down and say hello. Even if you’re not looking to buy anything, seeing a few familiar faces would mean a lot.
Sometimes you’ve just got to stop overthinking and take the shot.
Wish me luck. 📸

Not in polished glass towers or carefully curated tourist brochures, but in the cobbles beneath your feet, the mills that still stand tall, and the narrow streets that have witnessed generations come and go.
This image was made on a rain-soaked evening, looking towards the iconic Kimpton Clocktower. The weather had stripped the city back to its essentials. No distractions. No crowds. Just wet cobbles reflecting the last of the light, towering brick warehouses on either side, and a lone figure disappearing into the distance beneath an umbrella.
Manchester often feels most alive when it’s quiet.
These old industrial streets were once the beating heart of the world’s first industrial city. Cotton, engineering, innovation and ambition flowed through places like this, shaping not only Manchester but cities across the globe. Today, the warehouses house apartments, offices and creative spaces, but the character remains etched into every brick and worn stone.
I love moments like this because they remind me why I started photographing Manchester in the first place. It’s not always about the skyline or the landmarks. Sometimes it’s about atmosphere. A fleeting moment of rain. A solitary figure. The way the light catches the cobbles. The feeling that you’re standing between the city’s past and present at exactly the right time.
Manchester never stands still, yet somehow it never loses itself.

Old red-brick warehouses, cobbled streets polished by decades of rain, and towering glass giants rising in the background. Every corner feels like a conversation between the city’s industrial past and its ever-changing future.
This frame caught exactly that. A quiet backstreet, the glow of wet cobbles, and a lone figure in a hi-vis jacket cutting through the scene like a brushstroke of colour against the grey Manchester sky. Sometimes it’s not the landmarks that tell the story of a city, it’s the people moving through it.
I spend a lot of my time shooting events and commercial work these days, but moments like this are a reminder of why I first picked up a camera. No brief. No client. Just Manchester being Manchester.
