For the last 4 months I have been battling illnesses & injury and I feel itβs finalllyyyy time to get back into the swing of training! ππ»
The end of 2025 came with loads of challenges and Iβm glad to hopefully be on the other side now π€π» Itβs so important to let your body rest and recover when it needs it, and Iβm glad I did just that (as difficult as it was to stop π€ͺ).

2025: the year for surviving and definitely not thriving π« π€£
I always find this post really therapeutic to do because it gives me the chance to look back through the year! As always, Iβve had some amazing moments, memories and achievements throughout the year and I definitely donβt want to overlook them π«Άπ» my longest ever run, amazing times with my loved ones, and getting to pick pumpkins on a sunny autumn day π₯°
However 2025 has also been the year of multiple injuries, many an illness and flare up, a failed marathon attempt and many internal battles to face. β€οΈβπ©Ή Iβm proud of how Iβve got through it but my GOODNESS it was a tough one!
Iβm here for 2026 being the year of THRIVING and not just surviving π«Άπ»π₯³ I have some big goals and plans and Iβm excited to take you along with me!

Considering I wanted to call it at 2km, Iβm AMAZED I managed to do all 12km today π€©ππ»
Running isnβt linear, we have great runs and we have absolutely awful runs. Unfortunately today we had the latter π€£ I still got it done, but it was 12kmβs of a painful hip, a very tired body, heavy legs & a cloudy mind π«
I feel itβs SO important to share both the highs and lows of life ππ» Today was so hard I cried when I finished, and the thought of going to get my post-run chocolate twist made me cry even more (thankfully those ones were happy tears π) π₯π«
Itβs okay not to love every single run you do. Itβs okay to find it tough. Itβs okay to stop. Itβs okay to walk. Itβs okay to push on. As long as youβre doing whatever is right for you in that moment, thatβs all that matters βοΈ

This challenge ignited my love for running, walking, fitness and wellbeing in general and, after the challenge was complete, High Vibe Life was born π As someone who has had and still experiences mental health struggles, Iβm not shy about openly talking about these topics and starting a conversation. Running in particular has helped me immensely with my mental health and continues to be a great tool to this day. π
