CARCASS CLUB 🥩

So I was very kindly invited to the CARCASS CLUB event down at last week. If you haven’t heard of the CARCASS CLUB I’m here to give you all the details.

They run these events randomly but when they’re on it’s an absolute must. You get a speciality steak depending on the theme of the evening, last week it was wagyu, I know wagyu!! 😱 served with their famous beef dripping chips, a sauce that’s not on the regular menu and a glass of red wine. ALL FOR £20pp

I don’t know anywhere you can get a steak dinner with a glass of red for that price!

We also added a side of their truffle mac & cheese which was 😮‍💨😮‍💨

We both received different cuts of Wagyu, I was served the Bavette which was a fattier piece but wow the flavours were unreal! Liam got the Chuck Eye, slightly less fat but boy it was SO god dam tasty!

We were both extremely happy with our meal and the service was very fast to day it was such a busy event and all the servers were amazing!

Thankyou so much for having me and thanks to for inviting me along. Such a great event 🫶🏻

Just a spot of lunch and some mocktails 🍸

A few weeks ago me & mum enjoyed a lovely little catch up and a spot of lunch down at

I’ve been here a few times for drinks but never for food to I was intrigued to try out their menu 👀

We opted for some refreshing mocktails and we both chose the Raspberry Iced Tea. It was the perfect drink for a summer day ☀️

Onto the food where we got the most amazing spread! We had the Mozzarella Dippers and Corn Ribs to start and for mains I had the Grilled Chicken Burger and mum had the Grilled Chicken Gyro. The standouts had to be the corn ribs and the chicken burger for me. It was my first time trying corn ribs but the sauce that was on these was 👌🏻

Amber went above and beyond to make us feel so comfortable and welcome. I’ll definitely be popping in again soon to get my Raspberry Iced Tea fix 😍

Thankyou so much for having me 🫶🏻

Who Doesn’t Love a Good Sunday Roast

A few weeks ago Liam treated me to a gorgeous Sunday lunch at. We rarely get Sundays together so when we do we try to make the most of it so taking a drive out for a Sunday roast was the most perfect way to spend it 🥰

We got seated in the dining room but you can also have food in the bar area where you can take your little doggo too 🐶

We both chose to go for the Chicken Liver Parfait to start. We’ve had a fair few in our time however this was probably up there with one of the best! The parfait was silky smooth and certainly delivered on flavour. We also loved the presentation of the dish, a lot of thought and care has been considered for the dish👏🏻

Onto the mains we obviously both got the Sunday roast but they do have the other menu which you can also choose from too. You can choose from a selection of meats, beef, turkey, pork, Yorkshire ham & nut roast for the veggies. Then you can choose to have 1, 2, 3, or all 4 meats on your roast! I chose the duo and of course Liam had to go for all 4 🤣 as if that wasn’t enough, we chose to add the extra cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets too 🐷

It’s safe to say we were absolutely stuffed by the end and unfortunately didn’t have any room for dessert which as you know is not like me 👀

Thankyou so much for a stunning Sunday lunch 🫶🏻

🧘‍♀️ Wellness Morning 🧘‍♀️

On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of being apart of a Wellness Morning down at.

Upon arrival I was greeted with a refreshing smoothie before going upstairs to start our yoga session. Ella from made us all feel so comfortable and gave us some essential oils to pop onto our mats before we started the class. I’ve got right into Pilates at the minute and this was my first time practicing yoga but I thoroughly enjoyed it, perfect way to start my weekend.

After our yoga session we got to try the brand new breakfast menu of course with some Thai influence too. I opted for the Sweet Chilli and Maple Glazed Bacon Eggs Benedict with Sriracha Spiced Hollandaise. I have to say this is one of the best eggs Benedict I’ve had, loved the maple glazed bacon it was the perfect balance of flavours. Accompanied with a range of sides aswell we got to try the Tiger Toast with Thai butters, the red Thai curry butter was insane, I need a full block for my fridge 🤤 and the Salt & Pepper Hash Browns are just genius 😍 all finished off with a fruit platter which was just delicious, including dragon fruit which you don’t really see on menus in England…loved it and took me back to my time in SE Asia 🥰

The morning was such a lovely way to connect with yourself and like minded people while enjoying the yoga class and of course the unreal breakfast spread 😍 I will definitely be looking out for more of these events 👏🏻

Thankyou to Iveta and the whole of the team for inviting me & making it all happen and not forgetting Ella from for the perfect introduction to yoga 🫶🏻

🪭 Blue Pavillion 🪭

I was kindly invited down to to check out their recently launched Summer Set Menu.

You choose summer cocktail and a dish from each section of the menu which are Soup & Steamed, Deep Fried & From the Wok. Here’s what we went for…

- Crabmeat & Sweetcorn Soup
- Supreme Dim Sum Platter
- Golden King Prawn Toast with Black Truffle
- Salt & Pepper Spare Ribs
- Rainbow Chicken Fillet with Japanese Curry Sauce
- Black Pepper Gillet Steak with Merlot (£5 supplement)

We also added some extra dishes from the Al a Carte menu, Iberico Siu Mai & the Quarter Peking Duck. The duck was served in a treasure chest which definitely gave it the wow factor 🤩

We absolutely loved all of the dishes but I think my favourites had to be the Black Truffle Prawn Toast, which was so tasty with lots of prawn meat. And the Black Pepper Fillet Steak, this was utterly moorish, I couldn’t keep my folk away. All of the dishes were generous on the portion sizes, we left with very happy and very full bellies!

I loved the extra touches that have made to make you have a wonderful experience at their restaurant. The service from all the servers was outstanding, very attentive and polite and they also had some traditional dancers throughout the evening which was a welcome addition and different to any other restaurant I have visited in Leeds 👏🏻

gets 10/10 from me!

Thankyou so much for having me, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening 🫶🏻

🐎 A Day at The Races 🐎

Last Saturday I had the most amazing day at.

I always love a good day out at the races, getting dressed up, drinks flowing, putting on a few bets and hopefully winning some dollar 🤑

We were in the County Stand where they have an upstairs terrace area with a fab view of the race track so we spent the majority of our day up there, drinking champagne and betting on the horses. We actually had a really lucky day and I think our overall winnings were about £350, so not bad at all 🐎

Olly Murs performed after the races were done and what a show he put on. He was fabulous and it really was the perfect way to end the day. It was actually my first time going to the races where they have an act on afterwards and would certainly be going to one again!

Huge thanks to for inviting me along and to & for an amazing day 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Are you SWEET or SAVOURY?

I am definitely both, it just depends what mood I’m in 😋

I was kindly invited down to brand new site in Moortown. I was so happy when I heard they were branching out over this way as it’s not too far for me 👏🏻

Me and my friend headed down to try some of their brunch menu. I went for a savoury option and my friend chose sweet. I went for one of staple dishes, The Eggs Residence. This dish is just SO tasty! It was actually my 2nd visit in two weeks and both times I’ve had it, it’s just that good 👀

My friend went for the French Toast topped with streaky bacon, brown butter, candied pecans and maple syrup. It looked and smelt absolutely divine…I’m definitely going to have to try it next time 😍

If you’re looking for a brunch spot this weekend is certainly worth checking out & they have three sites in Leeds now…lucky us🤩 There’s the brand new site in Moortown which is just around the corner from Roundhay Park so a perfect little day out there. Then they’ve got their sites in Headingley and Cookridge too!

Food, service and atmosphere, 10/10. Thankyou for having me & Thankyou for the invite 🫶🏻

NEW ASIAN RESTAURANT IN LEEDS

Okay I’m literally so excited to share this place with you guys, has recently opened up in Leeds and wow what an absolute gem. I’m going to go as far as saying it’s the best Asian food I’ve had outside of SE Asia🤩

If I’m completely honest I didn’t know what to expect as I’m a huge lover of Asian cuisine but the food we had at blew me away! The staff were very welcoming and informed us that our food had already been chosen for us which I was a little apprehensive about but I certainly didn’t need to be. They’d chosen some knock out dishes for us and here’s what we had…

- Homemade Pandan Fried Chicken
- Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken
- Rendang Beef Brisket
- Malaysian Curry Laksa with Prawns
- Roti Parata

Each dish was completely knock out! But I have to say the Pandan Fried Chicken along with the Rendang Beef Brisket were our two favourites. The chicken was so juicy and tender with the sauce it was a match made in heaven 😍 the Rendang Beef was so tender and such depth of flavour, huge compliments to the chef 👏🏻

is definitely my new favourite Asian restaurant and I will certainly be returning! Thankyou so much for having me you guys are smashing it 🙌🏻

Feeling Fresh 💅

I’m aware that this is a food page but I just had to share my recent treatments I had at 💁🏼‍♀️

My friends have recently just opened up their new salon in Batley,.

I love supporting new/independent businesses so I of course had to try out some of the services they offer☺️

I’ve been having BIAB recently to help with the growth of my nails so I had a full set of French tips on my hands. Maria took such care and attention on my nails and made me aware of some damage to them but assured me she would help me get them back on track 💅 I also had my toes done with shellac and again there was damage to them but Maria ensured they were back looking beautiful!

Whilst I was there I also treated myself to a Deep Pore Facial. This was a 45 minute treatment where my face got the tlc it needed. There were lots of processes and there was even a steam element which I’ve never had before. I literally felt like a new woman afterwards and I’m skin has definitely been a lot clearer since my facial makeover 😍

I cannot thank the ladies enough for making me feel so much more confident in my skin and also the health of my skin and nails. I will no be going anywhere else now for my BIAB and I cannot wait for my monthly glowy facials, thanks again ladies 🥰🫶🏻

Also, this is NOT an AD, I paid for my treatments but I just had to get the word out there about this amazing salon 🤩

🇮🇳 BEST CURRY IN LEEDS 🇮🇳

YES, I know I’ve said it before and YES I’m saying it again really does have the best curries in Leeds!

Last Tuesday me and my friend headed down to in Chapel Allerton to sample the most incredible Goan cuisine.

We started off with some nibbles, your classic popadoms of course and we also tried Bhutta Bhel, which was recommended. Wow, I can’t even explain how good the Bhutta Bhel was, I couldn’t stop diving my spoon in for more, some seriously tasty sweetcorn, you have to try it!!

Our starters we went for the Meat Sizzler and the Nepali Chicken Momo and shared the two. The Meat Sizzler included a lamb chop, seekh kebabs & kesari malai chicken. The meats were cooked beautifully the lamb chop was my favourite 😋

The mains were truly sensational, we had Butter Chicken, Goan Prawn Curry, Cheese & Garlic Naan, Pulao Rice and a side of Masala Fries. Jeeeez, yes we had an absolute feast! The Butter Chicken had to be the best I’ve had to date..dipping the chips and naan in that sauce, unreal 😍

>>SWIPE TO SEE THE CHEESIEST NAAN>>

Yes you can already guess we had desserts to finish off. We wanted to try some traditional Indian desserts. We had Gulab Jamun which are little cake balls drenched in syrup and also Kulfi which is like ice cream that tasted chai infused. We also had some mint tea along with this which was so refreshing and cleansed our pallets after the mains.

I can’t praise Mino enough for looking after us and giving us the best service and menu recommendations🙌🏻

Thankyou for having us, you always smash it 🫶🏻
