Each month, our dinner club host picks a cookbook, and we all prepare different recipes from it. In honor of my Nana, the best cook I've ever known (who happened to also LOVE a theme party!), I chose the award-winning Junior League of Jackson's Southern Sideboards. There wasn't a healthy item in sight, but we loved it all!! For the main dishes, I did chicken tetrazzini (tastes like my childhood, y'all) and also ambitiously prepared my Nana's 1970s contribution to the cookbook, two Ducks Burgundy.
