Weāre loving how Quilt feels intentionally designed for our home ā not added on as an afterthought. The sleek look, paintable cover option, and room-by-room controls make it feel seamlessly integrated into the spaces we live in every day.
Itās impressively quiet and efficient, and even during the cold snaps, our living spaces have felt consistently comfortable.
Plus was the most awesome team for install and we canāt recommend them enough.
Now available in Canada.

Reposting this from last year because we are getting so many questions about how to find good antiques on FB marketplace. Truth be told, just like your algorithm on Instagram reacts to the posts you watch and click on, showing you more of those posts as you engage, so does Facebook marketplace. Searching up these terms, while also engaging and saving items that you are interested in, will train the marketplace algorithm to show you more of those good items.
Once youāve done this for a week or two or more, every time you go on the app, it will show you brand new listings for items that match these search terms. Itās honestly the only way that we score so well on the app. The app now knows what we are looking for and as long as you react to the post as soon as it goes live, you usually end up in luck and score your dream pieces.
good luck hunting!
When weāre buying antiquesāespecially on Facebook Marketplaceāweāre not just looking at how pretty something is.
We always check:
⢠Solid wood over veneer (so it can be refinished and lived with)
⢠Proper joinery like dovetails or finger joints
⢠Overall condition: patina is welcome, structural issues are not
⢠Wood species: we gravitate toward pine and oak for their lighter, timeless tones
⢠Construction & feel: it should feel sturdy, supported, and well made
If a piece passes all five, it usually earns a place in our home for the long haul š¤
These are the antiques weāll never sell.
More on how we shop coming soon.
Backstory, we have been slowly giving our living room a little glow up. And once we found out that having two sofas in a conversation stance with each other was the best layout for this very narrow and long living room, we also quickly realized that the space between the two sofas needed to be quite vast. Unfortunately, any coffee tables we had found at antique markets, Facebook marketplace, etc. were just too narrow. And after living with a coffee table that you couldnāt even reach with your feet for the last few months, we knew we needed to make a change. As a placeholder, we cut down an old table we had in our basement. thatās the bottom of its legs were completely chewed apart by chemicals⦠and possibly animals. And although it was functional and large enough, it just didnāt suit the space.
Last week I was scrolling through Facebook marketplace, as I usually do 2 to 3 times a dayš«£ and stumbled upon this pine table, being brand newly listed. It was a dining table for a family that was selling it, and then was in their restaurant. Itās not antique, more of a 1980s replica, but it was literally the perfect measurements for our living room. The only caveat was that it was an hour and a half away. Usually we Kabash driving that far and always hope that something else will come up closer. But after so long of dreaming up this table, I knew I just had to make the drive. Turns out, there are two towns in the valley with the exact same street number, street name and unit. One was where the table was located, one was 30 minutes further away in full on blizzard conditions. Guess which one I was taken to by my GPS⦠thatās right, adding a full hour onto my drive.
But all is now forgiven because this table is literally everything I couldāve imagined in a coffee table since starting our antique journey back when I was 22 and secondhand was the only thing I could afford.
Would you cut down the perfect dining table for your space? Let me know in the comments.

Would you tackle this type of project for your house?
I love old things. Always have.
Turns out a lot of you do too ā which confirms my suspicion that this is a corner of the internet for old souls only.
If thatās you⦠hi, youāre my people.
Now we love antiques because they bring so much character to a space. They bring history and warmth. But you have to know how to use them to work in your own space.
We found this stunning island which used to be a store counter on Facebook marketplace last month. It was perfect but 4 inches too short especially with a husband who is 6 foot 6. it also had mismatched poles that had been added by the last owner.
donāt be afraid to customize your antiques to fit their need in your home. We utilized the bottom of turned legs from a broken table. We had in storage to raise the piece up to the perfect height. And, we added the same pulls we have on the rest of the kitchen drawers, which makes it feel intentional and seamless in the space.
Quick fixes like this can turn any piece into a forever piece in your home.
