Happy Easter! Room with a view! I haven’t posted here for ages as life has suddenly taken off again and these last few weeks have been busy, fast paced but most importantly - full of days out, a holiday, visits to the theatre (that was emotional!), meeting with friends and family and it’s been great. Happy Tuesday! I felt utterly miserable to wake up in the gloom and rain this morning. Something about the darkening light and the evenings closing in I guess, but so many of the smallest things have lifted my mood since then. My daughter giggling at something silly on the radio, a comforting cup of tea, a quiet office, some theatre tickets and a sweet message from a friend. Our guest room transformation is almost complete and ready for the arrival of my parents this weekend for some double birthday celebrations for our youngest 2! Born 5 years and a day apart (and very nearly on the same day!). I’m looking forward to it. September has brought me some peace and quiet in the house after wonderful but hectic (and noisy) summer holidays. I’m hoping to start work on a couple of other spaces in the house over the next couple of months. This guest room is in the oldest part of the house with wonky floors and doors but I love it.
