We start out with a cold plunge in the sea, and then alternate with a relaxing sauna session to soak in the intense woody heat. The giant picture frame window inside of makes this time all the more special, framing a beautiful view of the sea that revitalised us only moments beforehand. We gather inside and gaze out at shades of blue and the movement of the water’s surface, surrendering easily into a meditative state.
A few dips and saunas later, we were all glowing, smiling and chatting to one another about what a wonderfully simple but profound wellness practice this is, with our toes grounded contentedly into the sand.
This was a firm favourite at our Cornwall retreat this year, and we’ll certainly be returning for more ✨

“This was a very special retreat. I was just expecting some days off work in a nice location, but it turned out to be a retreat in the most literal meaning. From the minute we stepped into the beautiful spacious house, where the air was smelling very promising of melted chocolate (vegan brownies in the making) it felt like we were stepping out of the real world.
truly created a perfect getaway. Early morning swims, little mindfulness practices here and there, amazing food all day long, yoga in all its forms from moving and sweating to restorative and meditation, amazing food and of course the sea!! We explored many different places: picturesque sceneries to make friends with the cold water swim, play in waves in the shore, getting comfortable with jumping from rocks or swim a little distance.
With the team by our side it felt absolutely safe to explore our comfort zones and even a bit further for those who were up for a bit of a challenge. I am really thankful for this experience and can’t wait to be back!”
