This is a special announcement from Evil Twin:

Here we are performing our forthcoming new single ‘DS Nine’ on the Late show…

This is the herald of the new reality, stepping thru the gates of immaterium”

and Evil Twin have communicated through methods more sophisticated than the telegraph - to create a new space symphony for the still young millennium

So be calmed - but we step out of the warmth of the Holocene, into fear, uncertainty and doubt, there will be music

DS nine, the first single of this project, comes out a week from today, on the 12th of June. We’ll also be releasing this full live performance from the Late Show.
Expect more collaborations in the future, 15 more…and a joint show to come in September 9th at nightclub 101 as well.

“I was introduced to Evil twin while I was already producing several bands in the New York Brooklyn indie scene that’s bloody blossoming right now, blossoming like a carnivorous lotus flower I should say… my collaborator, friend and studio engineer sent me some very rough and early demos and it was instantly clear to me there was something raw, uncut and very special happening… I was actually walking my dog in a London cemetery at the crack of dawn listening to a long phone recording of their rehearsal jam when I heard Peter wail the chorus of Deep space 9 for the first time… it was just a ragged and weird croon that felt like it had emerged fully formed from a wormhole in bushwick in 1977… I knew there and then that I wanted to produce a record for these young American cosmic wayfarers of yore…

We initially cut 6 songs in 4 days for this forthcoming EP…. However the psycho-acoustic beast is now ‘loose and we are in the psychedelic love trenches of 15 songs which will make up probably the most exciting album you will hear this solar life cycle.” - Kieran Saint Leonard
Delighted to announce ‘David Bowie and the Search for Life, Death and God’ by Peter Ormerod and ‘A Muse’ by Kieran Saint Leonard - a night of readings and conversation hosted by a very special guest
At Londons magnificent with

Tues 21 July 2026 Tickets on sale now £5

This is an evening for anyone who ever suspected there was more to Bowie than his music. Peter Ormerod’s David Bowie and the Search for Life, Death and God examines the spiritual obsessions of one of music’s iconic figures, from the occult to the Kabbala, in a lifelong dialogue with forces outside of the rational. Ormerod joins musician and author of psychedelic occult novel A Muse, Kieran Saint Leonard. for an evening of readings and conversation at Reference.Point. Saint Leonard has worked with some of the same esoteric traditions that Bowie drew upon, and can speak to their realities from the inside.

Kieran Saint Leonard is a musician and author whose debut novel A Muse (Hyperidean Press, 2025) draws on his own practice of esoteric and occult traditions to chart a psychedelic journey through California’s spiritual underworld. Praised by Jonathan Meades, Carl Barât, Rob Doyle, and Andy West, and covered by VICE, The Financial Times and The Times, A Muse has established Saint Leonard as one of the most singular new voices in literary fiction.

Peter Ormerod is a journalist and writer who has written extensively about culture and faith for the Guardian, and serves as arts editor for NationalWorld. His book David Bowie and the Search for Life, Death and God (Bloomsbury, 2026) is the first full-length study of the spiritual and esoteric obsessions at the heart of Bowie’s work, from the Kabbalah-influenced Station to Station to the profound affinity between Heroes and Christian thought. It has been called “one of the best and most original books” published to mark a decade since Bowie’s death by Helen Barrett in The Spectator.

The Golden Hour 10/10

God bless Saint Kieran Leonard, who’s doing all he can to bring David Bowie back from the dead. Kieran moved to Berlin, got in the booth at Hansa, and even convinced Brian Eno to stop playing padel with Fred Again.. so they could collaborate on a song. In fact, given the first track is named after Rob Doyle’s Threshold —a book which contains more drugs than all of Görlitzer Park-it’s tempting to wonder if Kieran followed the Irish author’s lead, got one-shotted on ayahuasca, and had his brain rearranged by a 6D reincarnation of the Thin White Duke.

Reviews of ‘The Golden Hour’

"Has something of Bowie's Berlin era to it. Stylish and Unusual"
-The Times

"Saint Leonard is a musical Polymath"
-Line of Best Fit

"What kind of mind made that music? He's always made the most interesting, radical adventurous music, never caring about staying fashionable or any of that other stuff and you just hear him going on this kind of journey, the latest incarnation of that journey is Saint Leonard, an extraordinarily talented artist:

"God Bless Kieran Saint Leonard, who's doing all he can to bring David Bowie back from the dead... a 6D reincarnation of the thin white duke..
10/10"
-VICE Magazine

"Saint Leonard can write a Tune. Leonard draws down all that was good about the cool side of the 1980s, Simply great Pop songs...and you can find Berlin Era Bowie and David Lynch. All the good stuff in other words"
-The Spectator

"It's a shadowy pulsating throb of electro goth pop that sounds like a sex fiend depeche mode prowling through the Berghain, and the line 'you're off your rocker but I like your suit' might just be my new favourite lyric."
-New Q Magazine

"Saint Leonard is an artist's artist, earning his place in Brian Eno's creative circle"
-Marvin Magazine LA / NY

"The Golden Hour blends electronic textures, techno pulses, collaborations with Brian Eno and Weimar cabaret flair-all woven together with Leonard's surreal storytelling and dark wit. The Golden hour is not just an album-it's a full-blown experience: cinematic, unhinged, and unforgettable"
-XS Noize

The Golden Hour is deep-dipped in Bowie's Berlin period and sounds that way, partly recorded at Hansa Studios and even featuring a song with Brian Eno (as well as work with members of Fat White Family). Channelling the late great singer, the album does well capturing that mood and place, as well as Leonard's own emotional delivery, with songs to match.
-The Arts Desk

"I f#cking Love this"
- Irvine Welsh (author of Trainspotting)
