I used the May Stories By The Month kit to add two smaller stories to my 2025 Stories album, with each story filling one side of a 4-pocket 3x4 page protector. For both layouts, I took a pattern from the kit and customized the colors so I ended up with four different colors from the May palette. I used the scalloped story cards for my journaling and to mask my photos in.

For the first story about a Chinese hot pot dinner, I tucked an extra photo behind the journaling by creating a flip-out and adhering it directly to the outside of the page protector. For the second story about the strawberry snack I enjoyed so much in Japan, I fussy-cut five of the cute strawberries and attached them to the outside of the pocket to mimic the look of the snack itself!

I love playing with the different elements of the kit in Photoshop to create pages that are simple yet colorful.
Sharing a look at my Pieces of Health project.

I spent a good amount of time thinking about what I wanted this project to be. I realized I was really struggling with actually putting words to paper when it comes to health. It felt like a heavy topic. In the end, I decided that I can make this process as easy or as complicated as I choose to. Instead of trying to document a longer story every single day, I decided to just write a few sentences of whatever first came to mind.

I printed three photos on vellum, keeping the subject in color while the rest of the image is black and white. For the journaling, I used frames cut from a paper in the latest Storyteller Kit. This project will be an insert in my Stories album, made by cutting the front and back of the notebook and lining the inside covers with floral patterned paper. I used a strip of that same paper on the back to create a closure that slides into a slit on the front, much like the Story Play packaging. It feels so good to have found a way to document these stories that works for me.
When I designed the “What in the World” collection last year, I honestly thought the world couldn’t get much crazier. Boy, was I wrong. Nowadays, opening the news feels like a daily test of our sanity.

Because documenting the chaos helps me find some headspace, I decided to offer the collection bundle at 50% OFF: hopefully it helps you tell your story and process the crazy as well.

Diving back into my Japan photos transported me right back to that amazing adventure ❤️🇯🇵 Documenting my travels is one of my favorite things to do, and I’ve built quite a collection of travel albums over the years.

I know that documenting a trip like this can be a massive undertaking. While it’s completely normal to feel a bit overwhelmed by that mountain of memories, it’s also a wonderful way to bring those stories back to life. I’ve found that having a clear approach really helps to keep the process enjoyable and ensures the album actually gets finished.

Sharing my latest project for! The documenting day for Day in the Life was April 2nd, and even though it wasn’t exactly a “normal” day, I still wanted to capture it. Since I’m including Week in the Life as a section in my 2026 Stories album this year, space is a bit limited, so I decided to fit this entire Day in the Life onto a single page.

I used the “Today” paper and trimmed it to leave a thin white border before adhering it onto the beautiful floral pattern vellum. In Photoshop, I used the digital DITL stamps to create custom pockets that match the color scheme of the 3x4 cards, including a 6am pocket since that’s when our days always begin. I printed nine photos in a tag shape and placed my journaling on a double tag shape that I could fold over, attach the photo to, and slide into the pockets.

I’m already planning to document another day later this year (perhaps a normal day with the two of us or a vacation day) and use this same design on the back of this page.
Today I’m sharing my foundation for Week in the Life™ 2026 🎉😍📔

This year, I’ve decided to try something a little different: instead of a standalone album, WITL will be a dedicated section within my 2026 Stories album, much like my ‘Story Play’ stories from last year.

I used the packaging from an older ‘Story Play’ kit as my base, trimming it to 7 x 8.25 inches while keeping the original closure flap intact. I stitched the vellum photo strip paper onto the front and added some flowers to the packaging background. When my hand-cut hole for the closure didn’t turn out quite as planned, I gathered more flowers to hide the edges. The photo slots are filled with the letters for “Week in the Life 2026” printed on photo paper, with room left for some tiny photos later.

I couldn’t resist an interactive design, so my daily formula is all about flip-ups! Each day features a 10 x 8 paper trimmed to 7 x 8.25 as the base layer. I added a 9-slot section from a 2x2 page protector filled with all of the 2x2 cards (for now, I won’t use them all, as it will depend on the photos I want to use) topped with another flip-up for large photos. I printed the plastic letters onto vellum in the correct colors to act as tabs for the top flip-ups.

The right page includes the gratitude pocket and I cut two additional pockets from clear vellum to hold the days of the week cards and the 1-2 journaling cards from the kit. In the remaining space I will add one of the plastic photo frames.

It’s already looking pretty chunky, so I’m crossing my fingers that everything still fits once the actual photos are added! 🤞
Seeing the hexagons in the April Stories by the Month™ kit was an instant spark for some Week in the Life™ documentation!

While I love creating a full album for this project, I also make it a tradition to include a summary spread in my main Stories album every year. The “this week” and day-of-the-week hexagons from the kit were the perfect fit for this.

To work with the space I had available in my album, I filled both a regular page and a vellum page (on both sides!) with hexagons in a mix of photos, quotes, and those beautiful kit designs and patterns. To keep the design interesting, I resized a few of the hexagons to add some visual variety and flow across the pages. Love how it turned out!! ❤️
I realized I have a few more projects that you might have spotted on the account but haven’t found their way to my own feed yet—like this layout for the “Pieces of Us” project.
Instead of using a single notebook, I decided to shake things up by creating a separate mini-notebook for every prompt. Each one has its own vellum cover, and I used the Alphas are Awesome No. 19 digital stamp set to create the titles. For the base, I used a design from the 2024 AE Travel Collection and sewed vellum pockets directly onto the background to hold all the mini-notebooks.
For the upcoming “Pieces of Health” project, I’m still debating which way to go: should I create a page in my 6x8 album or finally give the notebook a try? I’ve never used one before, so I’m curious to hear your thoughts. What would you do? 👇
When I first saw the vibrant color block squares paper from the Storyteller Kit No. 5, I immediately thought of my daughter and her colorful life. To mark her 24th birthday, I wanted to create a “wrap-up” of everything she experienced during her 23rd year.

I turned photos from throughout the year into tiny squares with a white border. To make sure I could fit them all, I created an interactive flip-out using more of the color block paper, giving me even more squares to add my photos to. In the center, I used a vellum square with the Alphas are Awesome No. 35 digital stamps to create a “23 Wrapped” title.

I finished the spread with a 3x4 page protector where I added a photo of her on her birthday and my journaling, using the colorful cardstock frames and a heart from the kit. I also tucked another heart inside the flip-out to tie it all together.
