Nylon east-west shoulder bag by, picked up during our Seoul trip! This is one of my favorite Korean labels. Every piece I have from them has a solid CPW. I love a technical and lightweight bagāso practical year-round and especially for travel. During the warmer months I lean into slouchier styles for that sense of ease. The skinny straps are a refined and modern touch. Really punctuates the weightless effect of it all. This east-west silhouette is a style my closet was missing and it feels so fresh for spring. Iāve been carrying nonstop!
New slim belt by, my go-to for little leather accents! The most simple yet special things are always the toughest to find. What makes this belt exceptional, aside from the beautiful leather, is the very subtle chunky soft square shape and weight of the buckle. One of those very minute details that screams luxury.
Sandals by. Thongs and flip flops with enough support for all-day wear are notoriously tough to source. This new-to-me brand is founded by an orthopedic surgeon, so all of their options beautifully blend comfort and style. Canāt get enough of this pair! Code THERESE15 in case youāre eyeing anything.

Tip for Japan: we stayed at the JW Marriott, a brand new hotel barely 6 months old. Itās located above the NEWoMan department store and the Takanawa train station (that opened a week before we arrived). They have an amazing selection of local retailers, crafts, food and fashion. A great spot if you have limited time in Tokyo. Although, this is our second trip to Japan. Weāve already done the traditional ryokan stay. I might recommend prioritizing that experience over shopping convenience for a first trip!
Tip for Korea: we stayed at the Four Seasons and also highly recommend. Itās a quick walk to the palace, lots of museums, and the Bukchon Hanok Village + Insadong (small traditional neighborhoods with quaint cafes, tea houses, restaurants, galleries, and shops).
Hereās my complete list of home stores, the ones marked with an (*) are what I was able to hit up. The rest will have to wait until our next visit, which will hopefully be very soon!

I am drawn to the effortless and cozy feel of English country cottages rooted in restraint, like Jim and Helen Edeās Kettleās Yard in Cambridge and John Pawsonās minimalist Cotswolds retreat. Then there are architects Vincent Van Duysen and Axel Vervoordt, icons who have redefined the meaning of pared-back luxury. As a treasure hunter, I admire the soulful and romantic layers of Rose Uniacke-designed spaces that balance old and new. Luis BarragĆ”n inspires me with his āemotional architectureāāa blend of modernism with traditional Mexican elements. Growing up in the Philippines, I developed a deep appreciation for local primitive antiques and handicrafts. The resourceful and creative use of sustainable natural materials is ingrained our culture, and I continue to honor and live by that sensibility.
All these references inspired the direction, while we let the existing structure inform decisions. Working with the bones and not against it, we implemented minimal yet impactful structural changes that improved flow and created fresh, dramatic sight lines. Clever space planning and thoughtful compromises gave us a larger kitchen, a whole new room (the gym!) and a dining area spacious enough to accommodate a table for 10āall without adding square footage.

Over the years, sheās taken to viewing her clothes as ingredients. āPersonal style,ā as she defines it, āis a result of building your ideal āpantryā and learning how to create your own āmealsā that align with your taste. What makes style personal is getting to make our own rules.ā

Whether Iām building our home or my wardrobe, Iām intentional with my choices. Only surrounding myself with things that are functional, meaningful and that truly light me up. My goal was to create a home that is a quiet visual treat, layered with smart and curious details that bring joy to daily ritualsāand most importantly, feels like a warm hug and is a reflection of who we are and how we live. So much thought went into every square inch to ensure we got the most out of our budget. We added architectural interest and layered living finishes all while honoring the original structure.
Currently in a little nesting bubble as we inch closer to the finish line. So excited to cook our first meal in our new kitchen and enjoy the simple everyday moments in our new old house. Iāll be sharing more of our renovation at my home account. šāš¼šØ
