Rehab is a partnership.
The athlete puts their trust in me and I help guide belief and confidence back into them.
The words are nice to hear but the thing that matters to me is helping people get back to doing what they love.
At the least, supporting and being there to properly guide them every bit closer on their own journey.
ACL rehab isn’t about timeframes or a calendar alone, it’s about function and earning the right to progress physically and psychologically…
We focused on whole limb integration, progressive overload and and keeping the knee and body challenged, but quiet after sessions.
No rushing or guessing but consistent work, clear milestones, and support throughout.
From injury, surgery, loss of function and frustration to playing football again, fitter than before.
More to share on this! Stay tuned for ACL case studies and more footage from this.

For those it’s when the visual or verbal cues don’t stick or sometimes make sense.
Not a one size fits all in anything out there, especially with cues and coaching points.
I always strive to make things effective so you can work smarter not always longer or harder.
For me, it’s important to unravelling the underlying mechanisms of a system to understand and use this to alter patterns of behaviour and drive adaptation for results.
I try take care of the details (as much as possible), to remove barriers and any unnecessary friction to get you the feelings we want from the movements and at the end of the day, get you to where you want to be.
Our goal together is to remove thought, enabling you be your best, in play, competition, and performance without any thought to do with movement or a previous injury.
Remember, you are not alone in this, when injured or wanting more from your training and athletic performance.

Rehab and training is a lot about working on improving function, strength and capacity to handle more force and demands than you currently can.
However we must acknowledge structural difference, movement dysfunction and limitations, otherwise we’d just be strengthening the same movement patterns and current range available.
Overloading something that’s already overloaded.
It’s not just what’s injured, painful, or what’s happening, but when and how in terms of efficient movement and timing.
Often ignored and under valued is the timing and relationships between joints, muscles working together rather than just being strong in isolation or something doing the main role of something else.
Nothing works in isolation, so we shouldn’t just rehab and train that way.
Being detailed, sweating the small stuff and being specific really benefits those I work with as we highlight missing links, taking full body and lifestyle into account to move closer towards the outcome we desire.
Getting you back to gym, running and sport not only pain free and confident but moving and performing better than before.

What does assessment reveal and what do we want to think about.
A hamstring that’s sore and keeps getting injured is sometimes not the main issue for long term success.
💭
- Hamstring strength at length but assessment reveals where you need work.
- Work the entire chain to reduce compensation, so the hamstrings don’t overwork.
- Address pelvic rotation, motion, position, and improve hip rotation.
Proximal hamstring? The part up by your pelvis and bum…
Few things to consider:
Good trunk discipline and capacity to prevent torso leaning or low back arching further placing strain on the prox hamstring as it orients the pelvis further anteriorly.
When running and moving at speed, we want efficient and nice midstance shapes, qualities and mechanics so we’re not over striding which lengthens the hamstring.
If you’re struggling with hamstring issues or any other aches, pains, or movement problems that you can’t seem to shake off or get to the bottom of, I’d love to help you.
Shown above are in season work, early and mid stage rehab (depends on you, your what, goals and why).
• Roller curls hamstring working in short and outer ranges through different foot pressures which we go through during gait,
Hip flexion and extension, coupled with knee.
Heel- arch- balls of feet- toe extension.
•Split squats. When we run, move and walk, want everything loading and working together.
Sharing force, joints going through ranges of motion from flexion to extension and using foot pressures and where body is shifting your mass on top is important.
• Midfoot pressure bridge.
Cocontractions with calf and hamstring working together and run specific knee angles.
•Heel contact foot elevated bridge.
Not shown: hands on work on the calves, hamstrings, and hip rotators.
Everything movement better shares load nicer.
#hamstring #hamstringrehab #sportsrehab
It’s about getting the whole limb, leg and body working better so load is shared, not dumped into one overloaded and now sore spot.
🦶 Foot: pressure, ankle range, shock absorption
🦵 Knee: quads flexible, timing, tolerance, not overload
🦴 Hip & pelvis: strength, control and capacity
When one area can’t cope, another takes the hit.
Managing load, recovery, and confidence is key.
Kids don’t need fear, they need reassurance, movement and the right strength at the right time.
💪 Strength and flexibility matter
😴 Sleep, food and recovery matter
🏃 Movement not avoidance matters
I help athletes and active people including kids and teens stay involved in sport while building bodies, that can handle growth, training demands, and life, now and long term.
📩 Message me if your child is struggling with Osgood’s or you have knee pain and you want help through assessment & movement, exercise rehab, treatment with whole body approach returning to sport confidently.
Individual contact and assessment always 🔑. Look for Progress over perfection.
#osgoodschlatter #kneepain #kneerehab
This year wasn’t about doing more.
It was about seeing everything more clearly.
There was rarely perfect timing or a complete plan.
Progress came from showing up anyway.
Small steps. Consistent pressure.
The quiet work and what we don’t see matters.
For me and for the people who trusted a deeper process.
The work changes us before the outcomes show up.
What kept returning to my thoughts wasn’t noise, but alignment.
Not to chase pain but look at the whole system.
Structure. Capacity. Context.
Causes over symptoms.
Because of that, people didn’t just feel better, they did more.
Returned to sport, confidence improved, walking trips, hikes, belief restored.
Marathons were completed.
Ironmans were won.
Bodies once labeled “limited” proved otherwise.
It’s not just a method I use.
It’s how I think.
It’s how I coach.
It’s who I am.
We can always forget where we were or want more.
Im truly grateful for all the support, trust and love.
I love what I do, building work and life I believe in.
Appreciative of the human connection that allows us to feel, be vulnerable to share and support one another.
We continue to stay curious and build.
Not loud.
Not rushed.
But precisely.
Rehab goes deeper than pain.
Performance goes beyond output.
I leave 2025 clear, patient and relentless…keep being you.
Here’s to more flow state, learning, seeing more of the world & helping as many people as I can get the results and outcomes they deserve.

Very thankful of Miles' time and input with this. Since diagnosis left me with only invasive options. His approach to moving better, engaging the right muscles has helped me lower the pain I've been in.
There's no one size fits all when you are going through an injury and I am always keen to learn from some amazing people.
Over the years of being a bike fitter I have found ways to help others because I've also worked through pain and injuries to keep cycling pain free by adjusting the bike considering the issues and not by ignoring them.
👇
Having gone through multiple lower limb injuries myself, including two groin (inguinal) operations, knee reconstruction surgery and recently hip labral tears, I know what it feels like and exactly what it takes to rebuild strength, the individualised differences between us all, to gain confidence & trust again and focus on performance.
Through those challenges, I always wanted to create a personal, effective and successful approach to become the coach, mentor and support I didn’t have but truly needed.
That’s who I am today for my clients.
I changed careers, now specialise in helping athletes, runners and active individuals move better, recover fully, and perform beyond what they thought possible, whether you’re coming back from injury or looking to reach your next level.
I’m here to assess, provide solutions, help and support you back to being you again.
Both In person and Online.
Currently, I have some 1-1 availability.
Coaching spots for November closed but 2 opening in December for those ready to commit and work on exploring, learning, being specific and real progress.
- DM me anytime to chat more.
- Schedule your initial consult or call through my website (links for email, WhatsApp or booking links in bio) to get started.
Miles 💜😀

Then we advance! Rehab to performance!
I often recommend bite sized chunks of Integrating motion to expand compressed areas into pre-run routines and gym sessions.
Clients feel so good by training and rehabbing with movements working on tissue/muscle lengthening,
Especially at the hips and feet - (arch, big toe extension)
The WHY?
Try squeeze your glutes (feet turn out) and bend over or touch your toes- hard?
What is still being done for hip rehab?
- Clams and bridges at end ranges of hip extension.
- Shortening glute exercises with bands.
- cues like: Squeeze the glutes harder or drive knees out further.
You’re already ER, extended and hip rotators are shortened so you’re driving further into that with the bands and more knees out.
We require more options and definitely inside arch and heel, big toe contact for Internal rotation up the chain as they form an important relationship with what occurs at your hip.
My approach is to look at the whole body, give you what you’re missing and look at what’s not doing its job effectively.
There’s many ways to go about this with what suits you and your body, like different varieties shown.
Do you feel tight in your hips, stiff or maybe you don’t ever feel your glutes working?
Overloading other areas!?
Message me to see if I can help you with your own injuries or pains that won’t shift.
Injury- new, chronic or reoccurring.

You’d like to return to high level actions and sport but all your rehab exercises are ONLY passive or low level? -massage, bands, floor based and stretching?
You deserve better as your body and system NEEDS more.
Qs when I’m meeting a client, speaking to the person and not a diagnosis or body part;
•What are your beliefs?
•Your potential barriers?
•My Assessment Will help highlight Your movement limitations and if those are relevant.
Ask yourself:
Are you earning the right to progress through stages?
What do you need to do to get better? It might be lifestyle and sleep holding back progress.
Are you enjoying the process and having fun whilst staying challenged and focused on your dream outcome?
Avoiding tunnel vision on only being concerned with exactly what tissue or structure hurts when it won’t necessarily change the rehab plan.
*Context dependent - (post op, ruptures and grading of tears or injuries always applies) Everything is discussed and explained on an individual basis unique to you.
However, What still and ONLY matters is having a clear plan, setting realistic expectations and knowing where and what you want to get back to?
Why?
Because once we know where you are and where you want to be with a CLEAR target.
It’s about filling in the gaps between those two points.
We get there together. It’s ALWAYS:
WE NOT ME.
