The truth is only about half of all small businesses make it to five years, and for Black-owned brick-and-mortar businesses, the odds are even slimmer. Knowing that makes this moment feel heavier… and even more meaningful.
And yet… here we are.
Still standing.
Still growing.
Still serving with excellence, intention, and love.
This year hasn’t been easy.
I’ve battled silent losses. I’ve experienced the heartbreak of two of my closest clients passing unexpectedly, and walked alongside several clients who were diagnosed with cancer.
2025 challenged all of us in ways that don’t always show on social media but we kept showing up for one another. With grace. With compassion. With community And through it all, there would be no pHresh Pot without YOU.
Your encouragement. Your loyalty. Your referrals. Your conversations. The laughter, the tears, the real, deep talks on my table Mannn yall poured into me just as much as I poured into this space. You motivated me when I was tired. You believed in me when I questioned myself. You made me want to give y’all the world… and do better every single year. This is where customer appreciation month comes from!
