No matter how people feel about the situation, Francia is not involved in it. She did not create this controversy, nor does she have any responsibility for it. Yet somehow, she has become a target of criticism and negativity, and I honestly don’t think that’s fair.
What hurts the most is knowing how much love and respect she has always shown toward Vietnam. She came here with an open heart, embraced the culture, appreciated the people, and always spoke kindly about her experience. As someone who followed her journey, I never doubted the sincerity of that affection.
That’s why it’s difficult for me to understand why a person who has shown nothing but kindness is receiving hate over something that has absolutely nothing to do with her.
You don’t have to support her. You don’t have to be her fan. But I hope we can at least be fair. I hope we can remember that there is a real person behind the crown, behind the photos, behind the title.
Francia is not the controversy. Francia is not the problem.
She is simply someone who once carried beautiful memories of Vietnam, and I hope those memories are not overshadowed by hatred she never deserved.
