These last weeks have been full of quality time with our favourite humans, and wow, we feel it. Grateful. Emotional. Absolutely exhausted. But so loved.
While the house has been packed up, what weāre really carrying with us is this. The love, the support, and the people weāre lucky enough to miss.

No one said moving overseas would be easy, but wow, itās a whole different kind of emotional doing it as a family.
When I moved to the UAE back in 2008, it was just me, a suitcase, and a big sense of adventure.
This time, itās a home full of memories, kids who have their own friendships and routines, and a life weāve built that weāre gently packing up piece by piece. Excited, grateful, nervous, teary, all of it.
Weekend DIY projects, paint under our nails, Bunnings runs and little corners slowly coming to life. We have learnt a lot and slowly turned this house into a home, room by room, memory by memory.
Then last year we packed up the car, hit the road with the kids and spent five months travelling around Australia. Somewhere between dusty roadhouses, beach sunsets and caravan park bedtimes, something shifted for our family. We really felt the kids getting older and how much we still want to do and see together before they are off living their own lives.
Since then we have been quietly planning our next big chapter.
As a family we have talked a lot about what we want life to look like. We keep coming back to the same thing. Time is precious. We only get one life. We want to spend as much of it together as we can, collecting experiences that stretch us and shape us.
We want the kids to grow up curious about the world. To learn with their feet on the ground. To meet new people, soak up different cultures and see how other families live, not only read about it in a classroom.
Saying yes to that vision has felt exciting and heavy all at once. This decision is asking us to stretch our capacity, lean into the unknown and trust that when things line up there is a reason. It would be easier to stay where everything feels familiar, but we believe that real growth does not live in the comfort zone.
The hardest part is stepping away from our friends and family and the Aussie life we love so much. Our friendships have already passed the test of time after more than thirteen years of living interstate and overseas, and we trust they will again. There will be visits both ways, holidays together and memories made in new places. Our Aussie home and our people will always be part of our story.
At the heart of this choice is adventure and family. Giving the kids experiences and opportunities and a front row seat to what it looks like to be brave, even when it feels big and a bit scary.
So here is to our next family adventure.

There have been plenty of ups and downsā¦
Days Iāve wanted to walk away.
Days Iāve questioned if I was cut out for business.
Days I didnāt feel āorganised enoughā to be a Professional Home Organiser,
Days I felt like I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.
But I kept showing up. One client, one system, one small step at a time.
And Iām so proud of what this has become.
This year, my growing team and I welcomed more new in home clients than ever before, and we also had the privilege of supporting so many returning clients through big seasons like moving house, welcoming babies, and navigating life when it feels like a lot!
We also welcomed over a thousand of you into our private community away from social media, helping you get clear of YOUR goals and take action šš¼
The last 12 months have reminded me over and over why I do what I do. Because of YOU.
At the core of TOP is helping people feel lighter at home.
Less stuff, less mental load, less overwhelm and more space to breathe and enjoy home, no matter the season youāre in.

This year has been a wild ride of goodbyes and airport reunions in different corners of the world šāļø
Adamās work has always taken him overseas and, honestly, the sacrifice is real for all of us. He misses so many of the big moments, and all the tiny everyday ones in between. So whenever we can, we build a trip around his work adventures. It gives us something to look forward to and a chance to turn the distance into memories.
Somewhere in the chaos, Iāve become a master at packing for holidays. Especially because most of the prep, planning and travelling has been solo with the kids.
One thing I know for sureā¦ 2026 is going to be FULL of new adventuresā¦ I canāt wait to share whatās on our horizon āļø

Our clientās pantry was on the smaller side and she hated it. Over time it became a dumping ground for all the odds and ends brought home from the supermarket, only to be shoved in and forgotten about.
It was time to regain control and implement a simple systemā¦ In just one session we turned this pantry into a tidy, functional space thatās easy to maintain.
We placed frequently used items are at eye level, less-used items are down below, and those occasional items are stored up high. Now, everything has a dedicated home and is within reach, making cooking a whole lot more enjoyable and less overwhelming!

Once my family and I hit the road in our caravan, I knew I wanted to fully embrace the experience of traveling across our incredible country. This meant, putting my phone down, being present and only opening my laptop to keep on top of admin tasks.
Anyway, this time away has given me a new perspective and the chance to reflect on how home organisation has changed my life. Over 10 years ago, I too felt overwhelmed by the accumulation of stuff, leading to overstimulation and feeling stuck and ashamed.
The Organising Platform was born from my personal journey of decluttering and organising my life. I sit here and look back on the last NINE years and my gosh, itās been a privilege to encourage you, celebrate your wins, and support you through challenges.
