We slowed everything down and sat with 2025 — what worked, what didn’t, what surprised us, what stretched us, and what we’re proud of. We examined the challenging aspects, acknowledged the positive ones without overlooking them, and began dreaming about what 2026 can hold.
There’s still more reflection to come — this type of review always takes a lot of time. But I’m grateful we prioritized a weekend to pause, look back, and plan forward together.

These are dunes, not a desert. Even though it looks similar. (Deserts are dry. These dunes get lots of precipitation and you’ll find vegetation out here).
These dunes rise up nearly 100 feet close to the southern shore of Lake Athabasca.
It’s a totally otherworldly place.
The province actually has 4 major dune fields in nearly all 4 corners of the province.
