This Kokedama was originally planted at a workshop in Lisburn 3 years ago!! This is the second 3 year old Kokedama I've repotted this month and the reassurance they can survive is amazing ๐ ๐ #impostersyndrome
Re-soiled, re-wrapped with a wee trim and it's as fresh as can be! Its owner has done an amazing job at keeping it for as long. ๐ ๐
Send me pics of your happy Kokedamas and the sad ones too so that we can sort them out if need be!

Welcome to my new page! It's not a new venture - it's just a business tidy up. โบ๏ธ
My retail page is getting a bit too messy with workshop requests etc., and my brain prefers a bit of order. At least a wee bit anyway.
So bear with me as I get organised with the website etc., Lots of new workshops and events in the pipeline too! ๐
Thank you folks!
Jo
Thanks my dears!

So, I have a section at the back of the shop (not marked or even explained by any signage of course, because it's me...๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ) that is for not so well plants, perfectly imperfect plants and also plant swap plants! So take a plant, leave a plant type thing. Incase you're in and wondering about 'death corner', as I affectionately refer to it.
But aren't these terrariums class?! Can't wait to get at them!! Watch this space...
And no, big Harry, the handsome Hoya is not for swapping or resale, he's very popular but he's just chilling until his plant parent can house him again.

Looking forward to coffee, chats and sea views tomorrow, I'll be there 11-4pm. Realistically 11.30am if my ADHD wins. Sure pop in and say hello! I'd wait to 12pm onwards myself though. I'll definitely be there then ๐๐ซฃ

Who wouldnโt want a free, new plant friend every month for a YEAR?! With free delivery also?! This is your chance. All you have to do is;
๐ตLike and share this post - tagging the page also.
๐ตTag at least 3 of your friends in the comments that you think would also like to enter (theyโll surely owe you a plant or two if they win! ๐)
๐ต Make sure you're following the page.
Winner will be announced in just over two weeks time on the 10th May 2026 and the lucky person can then begin picking a plant of their choosing every month until May 2026!
Can you get a better plant competition?!?
And thatโs it! Easy peasy. Good luck! ๐

I don't like traditional floral wreaths ๐ซฃ No offence to florists!! I'm just not a cut flower person, although I do love a dead, dried flower, they last a lot longer and can be pretty even in death!
But folk do love a wreath. I get asked all the time, all year round to make them. So, look what I'm doing instead as an alternative to the traditional ๐
Succulent based wreaths!
Actually planted into the wreath, these will grow and shall not be dead in a few days, you'll also be able to keep the plants for as long as you like when you replant on. Much more sustainable than cut flowers, no horrid nasty oasis, just plants and other botanical matter including Spanish moss and dried preserved moss which will have your wreath looking stunning! Top end wreaths to adorn your doorway.
Check the website for more info and to book on to the next workshop where you can make your own.
I am delighted to host for an evening of whiskey tasting and terrarium building at 6pm on Saturday 9th May at our gorgeous seaside location in Newcastle, Co. Down.
The evening will include a welcome drink on arrival, followed by three whiskeys and guided tasting by Whiskeywithlee. Intertwined will be a step by step facilitated terrarium building workshop where you will create your own little self sustaining ecosystem with everything you need provided.
So bring nothing, just yourself and we will see you there for a fabulous evening!

I thought I was too early getting carnivorous plants in but I'm a sucker for them and wanted to gaze upon their glory in the shop! And so with that I've a limited delivery of Nepenthes and Venus flytraps in this week! They help get rid naturally without the horror of fly tapes and sprays etc.
In terms of care - both require lots of indirect bright light, high humidity and the golden rule, only use rain water to keep soil constantly wet.
You can reserve online for collection from Friday this week or delivery is also available.
Insta won't let me tag them directly on this post, something about them being marked as live stock ๐ซ but you can find them on the website via link in bio!
Thank you lovely humans!
Plant Swap Sundays!
Super easy - just come along with plants that you're willing to re-home, have a look at the other plants needing adopted and hopefully swap with the other abandoning plant parent! ๐
There shall be free tea, coffee and nibbles and also a quick plant check at the door to ensure no pests will be sneaking in ๐.
A chance to also sit, relax and chat about all things plants!
If you're interested comment below or message me and we'll get you a space booked.
All free of course!
I propose Sunday 12th April 11-1pm.
