Surprisingly, this echoes in Vladimir Putin's worldview. He often nods to Tsiolkovsky, the "father of rocketry," to fuel Russia's space revival and messianic stance against the "decadent West." Some scholars link Cosmism to Putin's nationalism, framing the Ukraine conflict as a "metaphysical battle" of holy Russia vs. evil liberalism, even tying into spiritual eugenics via Lev Gumilev's ideas of Russian "passionarnost'"βa unique ethnic energy driving empire. It's a potent mix: faith, tech, and power, inspiring everything from cryonics to ideological fervor.
But here's the mind-blowing twist: These concepts weren't new in Russiaβthey were reintroduced decades earlier by Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism. In the 1830s-40s, Smith's revelations unveiled a vast cosmology of eternal progression, where humans are co-eternal with God, evolving toward godhood through knowledge and ordinances. Multiple worlds, resurrection as a physical process, and humanity's role in cosmic creation? Smith taught it all, restoring ancient truths lost to time.
LDS scholar Hugh Nibley masterfully argued this in works like his Pearl of Great Price lectures and essays on Mormon cosmology. Nibley showed how Smith's visionsβdrawing from Enoch, Abraham, and Mosesβrevived "cosmism": an expansive view of a purposeful universe, where gods organize matter, worlds without end emerge, mentions of Psychotronic tech-like miracles. No medieval creation ex nihilo here; Smith's God works with eternal elements, inviting us to co-create eternity.
The Mormon Transhumanist blend Smith's theology with AI, biotech, and immortality tech. Seeing resurrection as an ordinance we perform via scienceβechoing Fedorov, but rooted in Smith's earlier revelations.
In an era when many Christian traditions had largely abandoned cosmic-scale theology, Joseph Smithβs revelations (especially in the Book of Abraham, Book of Moses, and Doctrine and Covenants) reintroduced a grand cosmology: worlds without number (Moses 1:33), Kolob as a governing star near Godβs throne, premortal councils, eternal families, and humanityβs potential to become like God, creators in an ever-expanding cosmos.
Nibley demonstrated that these ideas echo ancient temple traditions and lost texts (like Enoch literature), once common in early Christianity but later suppressed or spiritualized away. He argued that Joseph didnβt invent this viewβhe recovered it through revelation, linking modern temples to the cosmic mountain, where heaven and earth connect, time extends, and sacred ordinances align mortals with eternal realities.
This restoration explodes narrow views of salvation, revealing a gospel that embraces science, infinity, and joy in Godβs creative work. As Nibley taught, the temple is a scale model of the universeβwhere we glimpse our place in eternity.
Joseph Smith brought back the cosmic dimension of the gospel: vast, purposeful, and personal.
"Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham, the intelligences that were organized before the world was; and among all these there were many of the noble and great ones;"
"God saw these souls that they were good, and he stood in the midst of them, and he said: These I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and he said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them; thou wast chosen before thou wast born."
Abraham 3:22-23
"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world..."Ephesians 1:4
Considering accounts of advanced beings descending to Earth some 38,000 years ago, tasked with uplifting our species through genetic and cultural infusion. Symbolized as Adam and Eve, these visitors radiated a violet hue, a luminous marker of their otherworldly essence, perhaps denoting perfected biological traits.
Their goal: intermingling with early humans to forge a violet-blooded infused lineage within the evolved races of Earth, fostering leaps in intelligence, ethics, and societal structures. Is this why ancient cultures have tales of beings with this violet hue from India to Egypt? Despite events of deception, their impact may explain sudden civilizational surges, from Sumerian innovations and other now hidden underwater civilizations, and thus influencing widespread global cultural motifs.
This resonates with Babylonian epics like the Enuma Elish and Atrahasis, where gods craft humans by merging divine blood with clayβmay echo a sort cosmic engineering. Could these be encoded memories of real interventions? Must we understand our origins to know where we are going together as a family united under God?
Are we destined for an Age of Light and Life? Will we restore the earth to its originally intended paradisiacal glory? There is no top-down political solution that will function progressively without a bottom-up Spiritual Renaissance. The most American religion won't settle for anything less than the Kingdom of God right? We must seek out the truth of history and religion from the world's best books or not be worthy of our fore-ordained calling.

In our language we use the name Lucifer for an angel who was in authority before God, who rebelled, fought against the work of the Father, and was cast down to the earth. His name means holder of light or light bearer, for he had gathered light by his heed and diligence before he rebelled. He has become a vessel containing only wrath and seeks to destroy all who will hearken to him. He is now enslaved to his own hatred. Satan is a title which means accuser, opponent, and adversary; hence once he fell, Lucifer became, or in other words was called, Satan, because he accuses others and opposes the Father.β Lucifer pretends to be an angel of light because he once was one of the Powers of Heaven. He was an angel of God who was in authority in the presence of God, who rebelled He still feigns to that authority, and fools are still misled into covenanting with him.
Three ways of contending with, and resisting, evil:
1. To return evil for evilβthe positive but unrighteous method.
2. To suffer evil without complaint and without resistanceβthe purely negative method.
3. To return good for evil, to assert the will so as to become master of the situation, to overcome evil with goodβthe positive and righteous method.
In ancient Rome, emperors and philosophers like Julius Caesar, Trajan, Marcus Aurelius, and Constantine were portrayed with this striking profile in sculptures and coins. It stood as an emblem of authority, wisdom, leadership, strength, and military prowess, idealized in classical art as a sign of dignity and elevated status.
In European aristocratic traditions, the aquiline nose signified strong lineage, resilience, and refined character. Some Native American contexts called it the "eagle nose," linking it to courage and vision.
Victorian physiognomy viewed the aquiline (or Roman) nose as a marker of firmness, energy, decision-making ability, and high social standing. In that era, the prominent nose was associated with Aryanness, with its shape and accompanying facial features seen as indicators of superior intelligence, social status, and powerβoften contrasted favorably with other nose types like the snub nose.
In esoteric traditions, the aquiline form echoes the eagle and falcon. Ancient Egyptian mysticism features the falcon-headed god Horus, symbol of divine kingship, protection, sky dominion, and spiritual vision (embodied in the Eye of Horus for insight and wholeness). In alchemy and hermetic thought, the eagle represents ascension, sublimation (soul purification), and the rise of intellect above the material plane. Thus, the aquiline nose metaphorically conveys keen perception, unyielding will, and a bridge between earth and the divine.
Apocryphal texts, such as the Letter of Lentulus (presented as a Roman officialβs report), describe Jesus with a noble, venerable face and a nose described as "faultless," "well-formed," "rather long," or "straight." These accounts include fair or hazelnut hair, a full beard, and an aura of gravity, wisdom, and grace, contributing to legendary images of his dignified appearance.
From Roman portraiture to occult symbolism, the aquiline nose endures as a timeless sign of strength, vision, nobility, and elevated presence.
Parley in Key to the Science of Theology (1855):
"There is a divine substance⦠called Spirit, widely diffused among these eternal elements⦠It is omnipresent by reason of the infinitude of its particles, and it comprehends all things."
This refined substance quickens intelligence, fills immensity, and enables a localized God (Father & Son) to govern everywhere through infinite particles.
Orson Pratt on the Holy Ghost:
"An inexhaustible quantity of pure living, intelligent, powerful Substance, diffused through all worlds in boundless space⦠One personage could not be in two places at once, but the substance is omnipresent."
He described eternal intelligences as self-conscious particles that unite, consent, and progress:
"Each individual particle must consentβ¦ to be organizedβ¦ learning by experience the necessity of being agreed in all their thoughts, affections, desiresβ¦"
From atoms to spirits to exalted beingsβpatterns repeat: harmony, organization, progression. The micro mirrors the macro in eternal law.
Parley: "A law of nature never has been broken."
Orson: "The capacities of all spiritual substance are eternalβ¦"
Their ideas show divinity as knowable, expansive, patternedβevery intelligence reflects the divine whole. Fractal echoes of eternal progression.
"O brothers, the love of God is sweet! It is conferred by the Master, and grows sweeter every day."
"Love does not grow on trees or brought in the market, but if one wants to be "LOVED" one must first know how to give (unconditional) LOVE."
"More than all else do I cherish at heart that love which makes me to live a limitless life in this world."
