And with that I have cosplayed all three Sailor Starlights in just 5 short months π€πππβ¨ I actually had all of them done back in January, but my shooting schedule pushed Maker farther away from Healer and Fighter. I considered waiting until Taiki's birthday, but I have some other surprises I want to share after I drop Maker, so here we are.
That said, my motivation is just passion--plain and simple. I busted my ass to get these cosplays done with the best quality I could muster because...I enjoy what I do. I absolutely love the Starlights and I've been inspired after seeing the Sailor Moon Cosmos Movies & collecting all the merch that's been released here in Japan.
These past two years have been a whirlwind of Sailor Moon adventures, and completing the Starlights trifecta is really just a reflection of the sheer joy I've been experiencing.
Anyway--today I'm here to discuss why you've been sleeping on Taiki and why, after seeing my cosplay, you now stan π

No matter how many times I wear this cosplay I'm still so happy with it. I don't feel like I need to fix anything, and because it's well made it's not in need of any repair just yet. I'm already looking forward to my next project with the satisfaction of not feeling like I need to immediately remake this costume π€ π
I've seen such exponential improvement in my skills as I learn more about sewing, and I'm so excited to continue to perfect my technique. The next cosplay is already in the works and it's going to be the best one yet π

Iβve actually had Healer done since the beginning of 2024, but my posting schedule ended up lining up with their birthday which I thought would be PERFECT to debut them. This was the first chance Iβve had to do the full costest so there are a few adjustments Iβd like to make before booking a real shoot for them, but Iβm LOVING how this Alien Superstar turned out πΈ
I went for a slightly updated version hereβ I originally designed the suit to be a mix of the 90βs & the musical, but now thereβs a Cosmos twist! I LOVE the look of the colored coded tiaras, earrings, and hair ties (which you canβt see here, but itβs there) so I tweaked the design to incorporate them. Which do you prefer?

I really fell in love with Yaten after seeing the Cosmos Movies. They hands down had the most personality out of all the Starlights, and it totally stole the show. It made me go back and rewatch some 90βs episodes to pay more attention to them, and while I fell in love with Cosmos Yaten Iβm OBSESSED with 90βs Yaten. Their sassiness is πΆοΈπ₯ and I currently vibe with that energy π―
