is a celebration of the UAE’s 200+ nationalities, all coexisting peacefully. This eye-catching food truck has set up in the back lane at Alserkal Avenue – for a limited time only.

The concise menu spans sandwiches, bowls, salads, specialty coffee and house-made drinks. Arabic ingredients form the backbone – za’atar, tahini, labneh, toum, house pickles – but the execution borrows from the modern deli playbook.

The star: the Culture Deli Classic. Pastrami-style beef, mustard labneh, cabbage slaw and signature pickles on house-baked shokupan. High-quality ingredients throughout. No corners cut.

This is a pop-up edition of a brand new concept, with a permanent home on the way. Young founder, young chef, plenty of ambition. Open daily 10am–10pm. Outside seating and takeaway only. Race you there? 🏃‍♀️

Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just found us – allow us to (re)introduce ourselves…

the HUNTR started as a small Instagram account. A passion project. We had two itches to scratch.

First: Build a directory of the best places in the country. Somewhere you could actually trust. Not just paid placements.* Not influencer noise. Just a genuinely useful resource that didn’t exist anywhere else.

Second: Provide an antidote to the lazy takes about this country having no culture, no history, no soul. We’re not here to convince anyone – not everyone will love you, and some are determined to misunderstand you. But for those willing to look deeper, we wanted to go deep 🤿

None of this started with a business plan. It grew because it resonated.

Instagram became a website, then a membership, then an app. Then we thought: some stories deserve paper. So PAPER by the HUNTR was born – a free newspaper at 100+ venues. The idea: how lovely to walk into a cafe and see people reading something tangible, not just idly scrolling?

Then came Offline by the HUNTR. Because in a world becoming more disconnected, bringing people together feels like important work.

Our logo – the three-finger salute – is 🤍 We are Dubai-born, and he inspires us daily. What he has achieved is extraordinary. This city, this vision – we wanted to honour him in that small way ✨

We’re not here to add to the hype machine. In our directory of 1,200+ places, you’ll find the oldest restaurants, the hidden gems, the spots only locals know. Because if we all chase the hype loop, the old places close. Those are people’s dreams.

Still independently owned. Still obsessively curated. Still here to help you find your next favourite place.
Welcome to the HUNTR 🤝

*We sometimes work with handpicked partners commercially. Integrity comes first. We say no more than we say yes.
If you’ve ever lingered at a specialty coffee bar, watching a barista pull shots on a gleaming machine with that distinctive Florentine lion logo, you’ve seen La Marzocco at work. The Italian manufacturer – responsible for the equipment behind some of the world’s best coffee – has had a presence in the UAE for years through resellers. Now, serious home baristas and café owners can experience the full range in person at their first dedicated showroom in Dubai’s Trade Centre Area 👆👀

This isn’t a café. You won’t find a menu, and there’s no queue for morning flat whites. Instead, it’s a working showroom where you can get hands-on with machines ranging from compact home espresso makers to the commercial workhorses you’ve seen at your favourite specialty spots. The team will walk you through each model and demonstrate how they work – and yes, you can taste the coffee they pull.

A moment in history, shaped with sound. Last night, the made its Dubai debut at – 70 musicians, 30 voices, one nation. This is The Beginning. 👆✨

After opening in the capital last week at Emirates Palace and travelling to Al Ain, the orchestra arrived in Dubai for a performance that captivates the room. The programme featured a world premiere of “The Beginning” an Emirati Symphony by composer Nadim Tarabay – blending traditional motifs with symphonic form in a way that feels both unexpected and deeply rooted.

From here, the tour continues to Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah – a national celebration of music across the Emirates.
If you have the chance to experience this, please don’t miss it. It’s a beautiful, moving evening and one of those rare cultural moments that stays with you. Tickets are available on uaenationalorchestra.ae

Some people measure a country’s history & culture by the age of its buildings. The Bedouins who’ve worked this land for generations might have something to say about that.

Yesterday we hosted gathering two in partnership with on heritage farmland in Wadi Al Helo. The farm belongs to Saeed Almazrouie, whose family has tended this land for centuries. He’s somehow managed to grow rice in the UAE, along with wheat, herbs, fruit, vegetables and honey – all organic, all for his family and community 👨‍🌾

Moza from ballad designed a bespoke menu shaped entirely by what the farm produced that week. We sat, we ate, we toured the farm and we connected with the stillness, the beauty and the simplicity of farm life 🌾

The next gathering is already in the works, and it’ll be something completely different ✨
